Since when we’re Nissan, Volvo, and Mercedes in this? I don’t normally watch this because I’m not Australian but I thought it was just Holden and Ford.
@@endgamerplays Nissan and Mercedes actually entered into the Championship in 2013 when the Next Generation Rules and Cars rolled out, with Volvo coming in as part of a collaboration with Gary Rogers Motorsport in 2014.
However, Erebus Motorsport pulled the Mercedes from their roster after the 2015 Championship, and Volvo was pulled after 2016. Nissan continued on until they terminated their sponsorship with Kelly Racing in 2018.
Since then, it has returned to the old style of Ford vs. Holden, with that due to change when the Holdens are phased out for Camaros in the near future.
I've had an improperly latched bonnet pop open on the motorway once. Managed to slow down fast enough that it just dropped back down and locked, didn't hit the windscreen. Still a scary moment, and now I double check the bonnet every time I service the engine
Legend has it that some of those drivers are still looking for pit lane to this very day.

@@Kazzy307 wait...did he hit the brakes or not bc he’s still carrying a great amount of speed into t1. Also the ride height seems to be reduced considerably (unless of course he stayed on the brakes for the whole clip).

Just to take all the fun out of the joke:
In a game of potential thousands of a second, it all matters lol any slight bodywork damage usually greatly reduces the efficiency of a race car (whether downforce or straight line speed).
Great stuff! Can easily make another one of these for just bodywork in general. I remember Crompton talking about “the world wrestling championship” happen at the back of one of the Jack Daniel’s cars

This series is way more exciting than boring F1. F1 is so lame, you cough on a car wrong and its done for the day. These things bash one another, bang curbs,trade paint and its exciting good racing!
