"The biggest one Scott Pye will ever have"
Then came Queensland Raceway in 2016, actually also a brake failure
dont forget bathurst 2015, hit the wall so hard it knocked him out
@@KingMatto I had actually forgotten about that one! That was a monster.
A what ibmg. Ibmw ?!
Dangerusus
The 2017 pile up may hold up as the biggest crash in recent Supercars history by the amount of cars involved and damage.
The fact a driver was injured in said crash also testifies the violence of the impact Will Davison had into Rick Kelly's car.
Rick Kelly’s car was damaged beyond repair in this accident.
I was able to go to Circut of the Americas in 2013 to see the super cars race. It was a great show. Its to bad it was a one time deal.
I think Road Atlanta would be an awesome event for them.
Watkins Glen would be great for these guys, the full thing. Would be for F1 again for that matter
12:53 😱🤯 The pileup by wet pavement!!!
That last crash is what we call The Big One
Can i just say props to the camera operators- focusing on the car theyre tracking and they manage to zoom to a crashing car they may only see in the corner of their eyes… well done. I hope everyone in this is ok?
Supercars have always had the best replays...
13:00 who is the yellow 18 car ??

Golpes muy fuertes que no tienen malas consecuencias por la buena jaula de seguridad. 👍👍🇪🇦🇦🇷

That Scott Pye crash is so scary to watch.
How long does it take for the medical responders in the first clip
Opening few corners could do with some safety upgrades. From the Pye crash, the armco's not entirely rock-hard especially for something as heavy as supercar, but there should be tyres in front of that barrier. Then, at the next corner (the right-hander onto the straight), the concrete wall's at a horrific angle to the track, as it's designed to give a little runoff to the motorcycle chicane, but there's an overbridge so it has to come back at an angle. There's not been any crashes into that wall that I know of, but when there is, it's going to be nasty. They need to install temporary barriers when the chicane's not in use to reduce the angle of impact, or failing that at least put some tyres in front of the wall.
The Armco barrier has been upgraded since that crash. Has a catch fence now. Can't remember if there are tyres there though.
It's funny when you look back even a decade or so ago. Stuff looks a little sketchy as a spectator. In fact, the infield was barbed wire fence when you had the FG Falcons racing. Was an awesome spot that most people don't see, and there were very little people in it. Could see the start, then walk over to the back straight.
That being said. I understand why it's off limits for spectators now. In the event of a medical emergency, it's pretty difficult to get to.
At the 8 minute mark, glad they're all OK but is amazingly satisfying seeing 4 smashed up holdens. . . . Its even improved the look of the cars!!!
No It's So Sad To See Smashed HOLDEN'S 😭. It's So Satisfying To See NISSAN'S,VOLVO'S To Get Smashed Up 😂
@@CRAIGKMSBISMARCKTIRPITZ533 what? That's horrible thing to say. So like I said. . .its incredibly satisfying to see all those piece of s**t commodores smashed up and to add. . . .the day Holden was discontinued. . .was a special day and a day of rejoice. No one has to suffer looking at those horrid vehicles any more. The beautiful and might Ford lives on!!!!
And there is a reason Volvo and Nissan are still around and Holden(gag) is not.
@@thisisben3593 eventually ford will run out of car models to discontinue and they'll be gone too
Dr Karl, chuckle
Si much dirt everywhere nobody can see anything
Biggest ever crashes? I always thought it would be 'the biggest crashes ever.' JS
If these are the biggest... Jesus, there must have been a lot of very tiny ones.
I don't know if I am wrong, but I hate bloody replays, so I do not watch sports.
