Thank you for the video, It was just exactly what I needed to install a camera on my 2015 Hyundai Elantra GT Although I opted for just backup camera which is all I feel that I need. Great tutorial. Thanks Again
Hey man, great video! Might want to change the title to include the GT, as there’s not many GT bcam installs on CZcams like this, might help it get out there more. Cheers!
Great video Thanks’
Hi there, I’ve got a Hyundai i30 (same as the Elantra GT). I have a camera that has LEDs on it. Is it possible to still retain the camera on/off from radio function, even when not in reverse? I don’t mind if the LEDs come on while I have the camera screen on the radio on. Thank you.
Does this apply to hyundai elantra 2015 limited?
Is this the same as a 2018 elantra with an alpine ilx-w670?
I'm looking into paying a mechanic to install this for me. But before I do is there any update on how this is working still? It doesn't have very good reviews so I'm curious if it would be good enough as im not picky i just wanted something with a backup camera and google maps.
where does the red wire that power the camera connect to? i saw the black wire connected to license plate negative wire . Where red wire with video cable goes at the camera's end? you looped it and sealed it? the other end connect to auxiliary?
Yes, we powered our camera on accessory power so it's powered on when the car is running. This allows us to use the camera in addition to just being in reverse (our radio has that feature). If your radio doesn't allow you to call upon the camera anytime besides in reverse, you can simply power the camera off of the reverse light power and ground.
When you turn thd steering left or right, does it indicate pn the camera ?
No, this camera doesn't feature dynamic guidelines.
I don't know what exactly I did wrong, my cameras only comes on when my setting is on the camera itself, I must have not connect something right, because the moment my radio is on the normal regular screen, the camera does not come on when on reverse
You have an issue with the reverse trigger wire if it's not coming on when placed in reverse. Our trigger was produced by our smart harness adapter. If you didn't use the Pac harness we did, you will need to snag that 12v trigger from the reverse light positive wire.
@@ProvoBeastAudio That was the problem, after watching your video the second time, I went back in there this morning and got it fixed, is working perfectly now, thanks a lot for uploading this video and for responding to me, I really appreciate it.
Hi, can you tell me where did you buy radio frame??
Everything is linked in the description.
I don’t see a link either!

Where in Provo are you located?
We are not located in Provo. If you are local, and want to ask about our install services, send us a message on Facebook. Thanks.
I don’t know what I am doing wrong, My camera does not have signal
Generally that means it's not getting power.
Can you do this without a aftermarket radio or will I need one of those too
You will just need some way to display the image. If you choose not to install a radio, you can always get a dash mounted screen/ rear view mirror monitor for the backup camera image: amzn.to/3WjHcMA
Cool thanks
Good video but maybe wash the car first.
Not a personal vehicle.
