Does the stereo still sound good with the Monsoon system even though its not factory?

I just purchased a 2005 Toyota Avalon Limited with only 82,600 miles on it. It's truly one in a million car because it literally looks like it just came out of the showroom. The interior is a mint condition, there is nowhere or tear on any of the seats not even the driver seat and the exterior looks brand new for maybe three or four tiny little scratches that can be buffed out. Right before I bought it, the guy put two front struts, rotors and pads all around, he did the oil change and put four brand new tires on the car. And the nine speaker JBL stereo sounds really good and I didn't want to mess with it so I just bought a Bluetooth transmitter that plugs into the cigarette lighter, I attached the small screen to my vent then connected my phone to the transmitter through Bluetooth. I set the radio station to an empty station and then I set the transmitter to an empty station and I listen to my music from my phone with no issues. It sounds great. It saved me $200 or more on buying a new radio. I have had stereos and subwoofers in practically every single car that I have ever owned but the nine speaker JBL sound system sounds really good so I just wanted to keep it as is. I just wish the 8-inch subwoofer sounded better at higher volumes. But again, I could install a 10 inch or 12-inch subwoofer in a box with a 500 watt amp and run all the wires myself but the car is so nice that I don't even want to bother as I'm getting older I'm getting less and less into the Super Bass and super stereo installations. My last car had an Android radio with the built-in subwoofer and I just added a 12 inch JBL 1000 watt subwoofer in a box with an MTX 550 watt amp and it sounded good to me. Plus it was a small car so the single subwoofer sounded fine. I enjoyed the video and I will stop rambling on(I tend to ramble on when in tired and It's 2am). For added reliability, it's best to add some 22g or similar stranded wire to that resistor and heat shrink the assembly to keep the strain off the resistor leads, then attach the resistor/lead wire assembly to the harness. That allows you to stagger the length and make the resistor lay down in the harness.

anybody with a 1996 and the older style plastic bezel with the cup holders up top don’t listen to the plastic bezel parts there are 4 screw holding it in and i pulled mine out and broke all 4 thinking there were no screws

Yeah you don't wanna use that fuse since it has power all the time unless you like jumping the battery. The remote wire goes to a fuse that is only live when the key is in run or accessory.

Just a question, what mode do you use if you want to also increase the volume of the rear seats speakers (you can barely hear them with the normal head unit), I see the customer wanted just the front ones through the amp

Got the P1675 3 ways for my 02 Focus, gonna do install this weekend. Hoping the audio upgrades are gonna be well worth it, the deck alone made a huge difference in sound. 6.75in 3 ways for the front doors, 6x8in 3 ways for the rear on a Kenwood DMX4707S head unit. Shes my new daily do gotta have good sound for the tunes lol

Well, I thought this would be super easy after watching your excellent video, but it turns out the wiring in our 2010 Matrix XR looks different than the Metra 70-2105 Wiring Harness Adapter has. I can't seem to post a photo, but it has 4 connectors, not just the two on the adaptor harness. I assume one is for the steering wheel controls, but the location of the colored wires doesn't line up at all with the Metra warning harness. The radio we're replacing is a Fujitsu Ten, Toyota part 86120-02710. Any suggestions for a suitable harness?

The is one of the most professional stereo install videos I've ever seen, however, I 100% dislike systems that have an amplified subwoofer with the mids and highs from the radio only. The bass is usually way over powering the mids and highs. My goto setup is a 5 channel amp, 4 channels for front and back stock speakers for midrange, and 2 separate high quality tweeters. Midrange can utilize the 4 stock speakers since it's crossed over. The remaining channel will be mono to the sub. All 7 speakers are crossed over from the amp and equalized from the radio. It's very well balanced, hits hard, and sounds awesome with crisp highs.

you can utilize the factory head unit when adding a sub and amp? A buddy of mine has a 2020 Corolla with no JBL sound. He wants to add a sub. If the stock head unit can be utilized what will I need besides the obvious? Here is my list so far 1. 10" sub enclosed with box 2. amp 3. wiring for amp/sub 4. wiring harness for head unit to sub/amp? will that be needed? any help will be greatly appreciated

DO NOT USE THE 12V WIRE HE USES im driving a 2016 honda civic, i wired everything exactly the same, ive checked everything and ive had multiple other people look over my wiring, ive taken a volt meter to everything, and it all seems to work fine EXCEPT THE 12V Constant it only suppls 10V out of the factory harness and after passing through the converter to the signal wire it only has about 9.50 and it needs 12 to power on, after tapping into the wire he shows my rear bsck up camera no longer works and my trunk lid opens when turning the vehicle on or off
