In this video, we show you how to retain your multi-view backup camera when replacing your OEM head unit with an aftermarket double din. Especially in the 2015 and 2016+ LX trims, the multi-camera switch option is lost and the camera defaults to one image only. This video shows you how to keep all those views with your new radio.
NOTE: In 2016+ NON-LX trim models, the Metra dash kit includes a heating / ac screen that also controls the multi zone camera already. If you have any other trim besides the LX, you will need our other install video here: • 2016 - 2021 Honda Civi...
This video applies to Honda Civic models for years 2015 with navigation, and LX trims for 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, and 2021. This video also includes radio and dash kit installation, wiring, and testing.

Thanks for your video I wonder if you send me the wiring instructions for the camera in the back of the conector please I really want to wire my oem cam to my ex-l radio that I just put in but I want my cam show up that screen stead of my imid.

Hey Great video, so I have a question about the back up camera for my 2013 Chevy Tahoe LTZ I installed, Kenwood DMX9708S, I would like to be able to use my camera whenever if there’s a function on the radio that lets me do it but I’m not sure how it is, that got to power it. If you could help me out I would appreciate it. I have the Gm5, I believe harness on it, I was able to keep my steering controls and and be able to keep the buzzards for like the turn signal and leaving the lights on and what not. I would appreciate your help. Thanks.
