- Here's a short video on a very simple modification the ARB Twin Compressor. For anybody that has this onboard air system installed under the hood, we know the engine bay is filled with hot air, even with the hood open. By re-routing the intake from the engine bay to the inside cabin, you'll have cooler & cleaner air for the system to work more efficiently and prolong the product's life span.
Using push-to-connect elbow fittings sourced from amazon, and pvc hoses, I completed the install in basically 10 mins. I only used basic tools.

Wow. Now we're doing CAI for air compressors.
thanks for the how-to! I also re-used the filters inside the cabin using a brass fitting from the local hardware store 👍🏼👍🏼
Your intake tube is too small, 3/8" OD probably have 1/4" ID. In ARB manual, you might need 1/2" ID tube (3/4" OD) for this setup.
Intake air is vacuum, you can use cheap pagoda style connector.
Thanks. I'll take a look at that. The onboard air is working fine though. No issues since the relocation.
Those stones are air filters
links are not working
So what measurable difference did it make?
it's not overheating.. Before I noticed it was getting slower to air up. Now it's pretty much back to normal.
Makes videos but doesn’t respond when questions asked!
Hey sorry. I'm more active on IG, but I'm hopping on YT more now.
