How It's Made: Hand Crafted Ceramic Mug. Part 1

In this video I will be sharing the process of making a Ceramic Mug by hand. Making ceramics on the pottery wheel is a dying trade as nowadays pottery can be easily mass produced in a factory. Nevertheless there is authenticity and uniqueness in handmade ceramics, and the making process has value. In part 2 I will be showing the glazing and firing of this piece. Just a reminder since I am a left-handed too.
It is better to throw and trim with the wheel turning CLOCKWISE.
You may find it difficult to control at first. But after several attempts, you may find it smoother and more efficient than before.
Just make sure keeping those great techniques in your hand!
