Nice job resting your arm on the glass 👌🏽

That is not going to hurt anything. Tempered glass is stronger than you think. It's not like the regulator is going to break or something. Lol... do you drive your car with a plastic steering wheel cover and cover the seats in plastic?

Tech probably ate all the cost, as in his own time. When it's a diagnosis like that, normally, it's a flat diagnosis fee. So his labor of taking the interior out is part of the diagnosis. Then if an issue is found, that issue is charged according to work done and parts needed. Idk how Porsche does service billing though, but thats how it is at most dealerships. 👌

If the car is under warranty you just get paid for whatever you removed. So if you had to remove the dashboard which is about 4-7 hours depending on the year and model , plus whatever you have to reconnect calibrate or program. Some warranty jobs pay pretty good

@@MECHc3ifyyeah thats the reason dealer life is bullshit. Work so much to get .7. If your manager isn’t lazy he will pull strings to get you straight time. Fuck that. I shouldn’t have to fight so hard to get paid as my skills increase. Leaving the dealer made me realize its a waste of time working there. Glad i left.

@isorozco511 Been at a dealer for almost 3 years. It's a shit show every day in every aspect. I hate it, but have no choice ATM. Really good resume padding though, & has taught me how to stick up for myself & not get taken advantage of all the time.

@@MECHc3ify go fleet, like utility companies and work on heavier vehicles and equipment. Those environments really show how limited in skills you are as a dealer tech and make you sharper all around. I left the dealer after realizing its all the same bullshit everywhere.
