It's not just about the body working right, it's about it working right while you're actively abusing it. It's like redlining a Nascar or F1 car, except you don't get to have any spare parts whenever something does break, you just gotta ride it out until the end of your days...
This is different, most jobs you aren’t training 24/7 to hurt and knock out other people that also want to kill you. Not only that but these guys are highly trained to hurt each other

@@JoseGamer89 Bruh, maybe you should stop sitting in your mothers basement playing videogames and actually go on a construction site only for a day. you have no fucking idea how hard construction is. I didnt either until i went and worked in construction, at that point i had been going to the gym for about 3 years, after i finished my first day, i couldnt use my hands, i had to use my elbows to pick up my phone to call the construction worker to tell him that i couldnt go to work that day because i couldnt walk because my feet would cramp up so badly that i would fall to the ground, and dont even let me get started about the danger that is in a construction site, you could easily kill yourself with anything there. if you still dont believe me, go and work just 1 day.

Yeah but they're alot harder on their bodies then your average tradesman. Especially the head injuries. You CAN get injured doing construction. You WILL get injured doing MMA. And likely have cte in your mid 40s. Construction workers don't get cte. I'm a jman for HVAC and liscenced to do plumbing and electrical.

Body only has to hold up for a short time in fighting. I worked on a Turkey farm for awhile. 12-14 hour shifts. That was harder on my body than anything has been. Heck it was even more physically demanding than basic training was
Everything he just said can be applied to any laborious job. Mike Tyson looks alot better for his age than my Uncle Bill, a mason for over 40 years. when i did mma and boxing , the hardest thing isn’t recovery after training , there’s plenty of ways you can recover from soreness and body aches . when you fight and you get cut or like bruised up badly . your face hurts for a while and those bruises hurt so bad , i got a bruise on my eye one time and i couldn’t lay on that side for a week straight . Tylenol and Advil did not help at all :/
This stuff happens at work too break a leg or hand or whatever tweak you back your hip hurts neck tweak hamstrings fucked sounds like a regular day at work and that's they're job
I can't speak for others but to me personally if i was to get myself into a life long injury trying to accomplish my dream i wouldn't be mad i would be disappointed i wasn't good enough

There's not many professions out there where you don't have to rely on your body to work right.

In contruction and in factories with machines, not only your s**t breaks, but it also gets crushed and it can also get cut completely
