    ABOUT DANNY
    -----------------------
Thanks for stopping by. I created this website as a resource just for you to support you on your golfing journey as I know how tricky learning this game can be
to say the least!
I personally found learning the game too long and difficult in the early days. I read all the books, watched all the videos but my game was not improving. Then after studying various forms of neuro science, motor learning, psychology and personal development in less than two years I went from struggling golfer to the final stage of the Open Championship.
On CZcams and my personal website (www.dannymaude.com) I will bring you the most up to date training, training that is getting tangible results for my clients right now. I don’t know where you are in your golfing journey, you could be just starting out or maybe your body isn’t as flexible as it once was or you’ve got ambitions to slash your handicap. Wherever you are I’ve created a place here you can learn, share your ideas, ask questions and get all the support you need to enjoy this great game.
Be prepared though. If its a quick fix you are after Im not your man. Here I will give you step-by-step advice that you can take straight to the practice ground and apply to the course but it will require you to get stuck in, screw up
a lot, practice some more and then watch those scores tumble
I’ve had the pleasure of coaching thousands of students all around the world and if you are up for the challenge and are ready to get in the game

Danny, after 5 years of coming to the game, I’ve hit thousands of balls at the range, watched videos, read books and had lessons with Pro’s, - heck, one of my best golf buddies is a Pro, but you have helped me find different “the keys to the castle” at least 3 times, over this period! Well, you just did it again!! And this time is major! - My driver!! Even though my drives range from 260-280 yards, my consistency is pathetic, from round to round, or even tee to tee, as of late. Apparently I have been coming over-the-top this entire time. The visualization you gave me, on this present video, was a lightbulb moment for me! So once again, I headed to the range, the next day, and BINGO!! I was hitting the net, at the end of the range, 15-20 feet high! To put this in perspective, the farthest yardage marker is 250 yards, so the back net is 50 yards past that. So basically, my drive was carrying further than my longest average roll-out!! THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!! Where is your School located? I am very interested in a one-on-one!

Hello Danny, Im a new sub - not sure how i've never seen any of your videos over the past 10+ years that i've been playing but im so glad that i finally i did. I've had some physical issues crop up in the past 2-3 years that have really wreaked a ton of havoc on my game. I watched a video last week where you were explaining how to swing your driver with your feet together to "feel" your balance or lack there of. Just by taking that time to slow everything down and feel my balance and rhythm- i shot my best round in probably 2 years. These videos are full of extremely useful information for amateurs like myself. Just wanted to share that and thank you for your help!!

Something you said really resonated with me. I have a pretty good understanding of swing mechanics, thanks in part to your previous videos. In trying to change from a soft fade to a draw I’ve ended up with a big slice and it was driving me crazy. What you said about face control really hit home. I was so preoccupied about swinging from low on the inside I was leaving my face open. Quick trip to the range this afternoon and I’m now hitting it better than ever. Bravo Danny. Thanks for the great content.

I stopped carrying a driver years ago because I couldn't hit it. Just got a new set of woods (and irons) and it was the same old issues. Slice, top, pull hook... I was making better contact but the results were inconsistent. After watching this video I hit the range today. Sure I had a few slices, but 90% of the time I made solid contact. Towards the end of my session even my mishits were straight with a slight draw, and I was consistently over 200 yards. Not bad for a 70 yr old. Thanks Danny!

Thank you,Danny, another great lesson. I often push and/or hook my drives, so I will definitely try your suggestions. I think alignment is also a factor, so I will work on that too. I particularly want to thank you for your previous lesson on bunker play with your Dad. The ideas you shared have helped my bunker play
immensely. I often get it close first time, and, because I have a consistent method (courtesy of you), bunkers have lost their "fear factor". I greatly appreciate your advice. Thank you again☘

Step #5 is particularly illuminating for me. I know that one of my big problems in golf is that I am naturally a back foot / back spin player in sport (e.g. table tennis) but my 'natural swing' causes a slice in golf. I just did your step #5 for the first time and noticed that the position that felt most comfortable for me with my eyes closed had the club face open. I now have a drill that can help me feel the correct position and get used to that. Thank you.

Took this to the range yesterday, had the best range session with driver I have ever had, 80% in my target zone, normally i would prob hit 30% with no confidence at all, the steps allowed me to create a set up process and then the focus of hitting the inside lower quadrant gave me a consistent focus. One thing i added was the head cover in front of the ball at 45% to the right, the thought was to get my hands to aim at the head cover, this helped with my over the top. Now to take it to the course :) Thanks Danny.

Great lesson (well five mini lessons) - much to be gleaned in these basic steps on understanding how club path AND face to path are so interrelated
..interestingly enough in recent rounds I’ve adopted the first three as part of my regular pre-shot routine and this video confirms I’m on the better path as I’m averaging around 9 of 14 fairways hit (and the misses are either just a yard or so off - not wildly in the weeds or woods). It has translated into my iron play by allowing me to work toward “predictable” shot shaping
.solid, very solid
.keep ‘em coming to us “soccer” folk on this side of the pond

I lost 5 balls off the tee on Saturday (my shots were slices and hooks) but on the holes where I did get a chance to go for the green, my short game was great (holes 12 onwards - level par, after I’d employed the temporary fix of playing as if I were knocking my drives into the wind.
After my round, this video was waiting in my inbox. Shocking timing on your part! đŸ€Ł
Last night, I took the tips straight on to the course - went out for 7 holes, and 5 out of my 6 drives were absolutely spot-on. The one which wasn’t, was the one on #2, which went straight, but had it gently and slightly faded, as I’d expected, it would have been perfect.
Steps 1-4, I’ve sorted. Just have to work on step 5 now.
Thanks so much. So easy to understand, even I could!

Thanks Danny, great tips as usual - I will definitely being taking them to the course this week. I have such a pronounced fade to the right that I recently bought a draw biased driver (which i am yet to try) in an effort to bring it under control. After watching your video, I may just work on my strike with my old neutral driver.

I swear your videos get better and better, Dan. Crystal clear instructions and mental pictures. I didn't win last week but I won't sue you as my fault is never warming up and then taking 6 holes before I start playing. Tomorrow, I am hitting 30-40 balls pre-round and marking the golfball as per this video. 🖖

Your videos are the best. I just took the lessons from your other driving video where you explained slicing. You had my swing pegged exactly and the explanation on what was happening was just perfect and really helped. At the range this week I hit my first draw:) using your suggestion of visualizing hitting to the right. (here hitting the inside part of the ball) Thank you.
One thing I noticed here is that your back foot seems slightly behind the front, when i did that at the range it helped. I need more practice for sure, but there are times on the course when I could use a bit of a slice (slight dog -leg right) and others a draw, is that something that can be done by adjusting your back foot?

Hey Danny, once again a great summary of many relevant points to hit great. Could you add in one of your next videos fixes and cures or even drills to hit the sweetspot better, please? I would like to learn how to avoid heel strikes, which also cause a slice effect... Thanks, Carola

Thanks coach! i said earlier that your "effortless swing" video made my swing feel very natural, but i hadnt tested it on the range/course yet, only in my garden..Well, yesterday on first tee i smoked the straightest drive ive ever done, followed up by a straight long 6 iron..i fumble the puts tho haha, but after that i made 3 pars in a row, and and after 5 holes i was 4-1 up against my friend, who ALLWAYS beat me😁 In the end i played worse and got tierd and he beat me tho, but thats not the point, bc last couple times we played, all he been seeing from me are snaphooks and clubs flying lol... this is just the beginning! Rome (my golf) wsnt build in 1 day😎✌ Have a great day!
