My favorite player growing up and still is a complete package. Absolute savage one of the hardest hitters best fighters and a goal scorer. Today's players don't have a quarter of his heart
Still my fave.
Met many heroes and was never star struck.
Clark was standing next to me and I just couldn’t even say a word. I was just frozen.
Bless him.
Wendel Clark helped me evolve as a young hockey fan going to WHL games in 1985. New to your show and glad i found it. 👍
seeing Wendel playing a few seasons in junior with Saskatoon. to this day, best junior i have seen...what a player
As a Sabre fan growing up in Buffalo, I saw a LOT of Leaf games, and alway loved watching Wendel Clark. What a true hockey player and the epitome of toughness.
Just a Wendel Clark open ice hit was worth the price of admission !
17 Caption Wendel Clark........ what a living Legend..... My all time favourite Maple Leaf.
Being captain on any other team is simply a title and a little extra responsibility.
Being captain of the Leafs, is like being President of Leaf Nation !
Wendel more than earned that job and is right up there with Keon and Sittler. All 3 were different, yet great.
Lol ya right
You are insane
What most people did not know about Harold Ballard was that away from hockey, he was a very generous man. He just kept it quiet to stave off the beggars.
Gino, I’ve watched two of your interviews featuring Saskatchewan born and raised players in Wendel and Bernie Federko. Perhaps you could educate yourself on Saskatchewan, our populations, and treat the province with the same respect you show your guests.

Cmon wendell todays skilled guys have it easier? Not even close. They call stick lifts and regular hits as penalties. Did anyone watch the u18 worlds …every real hit is reviewed for a penalty. Could you imagine guys like pavel bure, paul karyia, pat lafontaine in todays game?
What an ironic title for this, seeing as 7 11 doesn't pay it's employees overtime if they can get away with it.
