He became the Dallas Stars Captain and then became the all-time goal and points leader of American born players in the NHL. He is also a Stanley Cup Champion, a Hockey Hall of Fame inductee, and is widely regarded as one of the greatest American NHL players of all time.

What a player grew up a leaf fan but he was something to watch. Not many players can make there jersey like a cape in full stride him and Mike gardner.
Really interesting story about his skating. He did look like he was flying with his jersey always playing catchup.
As an oiler fan every time madano touched the puck I cringed till he lost it he was so dangerous

My view of the NHL was tainted by what happened to Mike as far as rookie of the year but more so by what they did to Wayne Gretzky as well.
I truly thank you for showing us the true or shall I say human side of these players.

Stasny won it at I believe 35 years old after playing in Russia.
I really appreciate the effort he put in babs , is a punk and he finally has gotten what he has earned. Thank God for the whistle blower that shut him down.
