Come on YT algorithm ! This channel deserves 4 digit subs by now. What a great story and player. Only remembered as a KING. Moving back to a SMALL town in Canada no less is impressive. Right on the cusp for HHOF. Needs some media push.

First of all, how does Bernie get drafted in 4th round after scoring 63 goals and 152 points in his last Junior season? Loved Bernie as a player. I just remember him being so poised and crafty with the puck. I don’t blame him, I’d be pinching myself playing with Gretz…Yes Bernie, you not getting into the hall is a complete joke. You earned it, big time.

Just read the book he was plugging, 2 ghost writers better than 1 ! Really entertaining read. Great tales. Kings PxP guy gave him the 'Pumper' Nicholl handle. Ups and def downs from his career. I can see why he decided to move back home.Tired of pavement and concrete - needs trees and dirt. I wonder if the Rangers still give the roster the get out of jail card? Nuts!

I drool 🤤 at the thought of if Bernie Nicholls regained his 70 goal scoring Kings form when he got to my Devils lol easily get passed the Rangers and win the Cup in ‘94! 🏆

Who did Bernie play with the year he scored 70 goals and 150 points? I guess he only played with Gretzky on the powerplay. He was on the 2nd line, but who were his linemates?

Other players that also should be in HHOF: Fleury, Roenick, Mogilny, Tkachuck, Iginla.

37:15 Gino didn't even flight when Bernie messed up 5 fast facts! Haha
I kind of disagree with Bernie though, I don't think Lindros had a long enough peak to be HOF worthy. Also, by inducing him that opened the door for Neely, who again...was good, but injuries limited his success. He had 1 great season.

Darrell Sittler should never have gotten into the Hall of Fame. Old boys club. Toronto is the centre of the universe. Bernie Nicholls is correct. He played in LA. also referred to La La land. I rest my case.

I wouldn't elect Bernie to the Hall of Fame, here's why: The HoF should be a place honoring the greats. I should be wowed when looking at their resume. 3 all star games and 1 World Hockey Championship aren't wowing me. Nicholls was never named as a 1st or 2nd team all star, nor was he named to a Canada Cup team. If you keep putting good not great players in the HoF, it's not special anymore. Sittler is in because he played on team Canada in '76 Canada Cup, in the '79 Challenge Cup, and was got Hart votes in several years. But yeah, Nicholls' goas & points totals are impressive and I'd rank him higher than Alfredsson.
