I had the C5 for a week and about the software, you can now display the gear, change rpm lights colors, change knobs behaviours. Also you can change a lot more settings, effects and driving assistance. And btw it goes up to 2520º of steering range.
How is it now at week 5?

awesome and checked the Campus site for pricing, not bad for entry level direct drive setup!
Perfect beginner wheel for VR so you don't get to see it haha.
You forgot to add that for Europe you can go to to French or Spain Warehouse and get the C5 wheel only for 250 euro.
Probably the pedals are not worth to buy unless there is a quick way to upgrade them to Load Cell or Hidraulics.
insane shipping costs ... cammus c5 and pedals with desk mount is 405 euros due to shipping to netherlands from spain being 77 e .. idk why .while fanatec csl dd bundle w table mount comes to 455 w shipping and for 20 e more i can get the bmw steering wheel

yes, any standalone USB shifter/handbreak will work

Good attempt at saving us some money. Cause we know DD is overpriced. But the aesthetics are horrible. I’d rather save a little more and get something a little better with options for various wheels. That being said.. I’ll give you a couple hundred for the setup 😆
Not for $300. For $500 you can get the DD CSL kit which is soo much better.
Despite having the servo motor on the steering wheel, it is still being a regular metallic steering attached to the servo, so it can be replaced with any other steering. And I don't know how much money does "a litlle more" mean to you, but the closest DD in price are Fanatec and Moza 5nm wheels, which are worse when it comes to force feedback and are about double the price. All that without taking into account the fact that a separate steering wheel will cost you around 100-200€ each. This is by far the best entry level DD that you can get right now.

This is probably the ugliest wheel to ever get released yet they still make it D-shaped. The only reason they do this is because it looks "cool" even though it's way less versatile than a round wheel. Why do they all do this? I don't get it...
Is the cheapest DD on the market, with a motor right into the wheel, the feeling is soo good. Is ugly ok, have bad paddle shifter, but some years ago for the same price you can only get a g29 or t150. So this is why they did, because they are smart.
This channel was better when you actually made stuff instead of making commercials for Chinese companies.
