Such a pretty dress pattern. I found the pdf on Etsy and bought it today! After a fall, I am in a sling for the next six weeks so no sewing or knitting. I am crafting vicariously through all my favorite podcasters and making a list of my first makes when healed, This will make a great dress for Spring into summer.

Hi Joan. The crochet blanket is easy but looks complicated. It’s the Dainty Diamond pattern. Studying has been hard. I was asked by my manager to do the course. I don’t think I would have volunteered if I knew there was a qualification element. Oh well it’s an achievement but never again. 😊
Hope you get your essay done and have a lovely time sewing in Monday. 🥰 I did my nursing top up degree a few years ago when I was in my late 40s. I kind of enjoyed it, time consuming though and the essays seemed to always take a long time to write!
Hi Angela. Well done doing your top up degree. The trouble is with life long learning, I now have several degrees and sometimes feel frustrated by it all. It’s nice to say I have them but does it make a difference to the way I nurse? I like learning but the essay writing reduced me to tears on a few occasions. Hope to have it finished today 😊

I’m with you Sarah, although you are much younger than me - I would have real trouble writing a work essay now. I can write long newsy letters 😂 but imparting knowledge in written form would give me the willies 🤣. Lovely to see your wee cat, my sweetie passed in 2015. Having loved him, I now find myself loving everyone else’s. The dress fabric is beautiful. It sounded ‘heavy’ or thick? Was it? I’m sure we’ll see more next Friday. It’s always lovely to spend a few moments with you 🤗🇨🇦. PS: the baby blanket looks lovely.
