What a treat, going shopping with your sister! My sister lives nearly an 8 hour drive away so we don’t get a lot of shopping time together. How lovely to have a day with your sister. I lost my sister 7 years ago so I enjoyed the joy of you both having a day together looking at all things crafty. Hello Sarah, a gorgeous choice of fabric and looks like you had a lovely day out with your sister, visiting Loop too. I was at the Stitch Festival yesterday too! My daughter and I go every year but to be honest I prefer the knitting and Stitching show in Alexander Palace which we also usually attend. However, I had a lovely day with my daughter. I bought a dress pattern and material at the stitch festival last year but, as yet, not had the confidence to try making it. Seeing your gorgeous material and recent dress making podcast I intend to attempt it soon though. You are brave driving in, my daughter and I both live in Hertfordshire so we took the train, nice and easy. Enjoy your purchases and I am looking forward to seeing what you make. It looks like you had a wonderful day out with your sister. The fabric is beautiful and I cannot wait to see your dresses. Is London traffic always that horrible? I seem to remember Ali saying it takes over an hour to go 12 miles? I watched Celebrity Antiques Road Trip and one of my favorite actors was on it, Robert Daws. It was mentioned that he had written two crime novels. Have you read his works? Chin scratches for Alfie.
Hi Dawn. We had a lovely day. Getting to London is not too bad but going further in is slow. Never heard of that actor or his novels 😊
@@yarnmugspodcast9123 I'm surprised you had not heard of him. He has been on a lot of British shows. You might recognize his face though. Do you have a favorite type of shawl that you wear? I wear the regular V shape and the crescent but I cannot seem to get the hang of wearing the asymmetrical shawl.
@@thecraftydawn I’ve just looked him up on the internet. Still don’t know him. Never watched the programmes he has been in. My favourite shawl shape is a triangle 😊
