What a lovely day to have off! It looked so sunny and bright. This video had such lovely food on it today Sarah -delicious looking breakfast, toasties for lunch, doughnuts then birthday cake! Hi Sarah, I loved your Dad’s sock, such a nice pattern. Lots of lovely food, my girls treated their Dad to breakfast on Father’s Day too, such a nice treat. We’ve had a couple of hot days here this week but now it’s cloudy and cooler but the dogs are happier. I’m knitting a short sleeve cotton cardigan at the moment, the sleeves are lacy so a bit of a challenge. Thanks for the book recommendations, I will check those out. Thanks for the video, really enjoyed it 😊

My favorite summertime read is "The Summer Book" by Tova Jansson. It's also based on her time on a Finnish island, but this is a fiction story about a girl and her grandmother. It's delightful. I must look for "Notes" as well.
Hi and thanks for watching. I was a bit disappointed with the book. Very short and not enough detail about the island. Maybe her fiction novel is better 😊
Looks like you had a perfect day off Sarah! Your dad’s socks were lovely & your food looked delicious ❤️. Such beautiful weather you are having, ours is cold & wet 🥴. We don’t seem to have those butterflies over here as I have never seen one that looks like that. Ours are usually orange & black. I was a bit worried when the caterpillar was picked up as we have a lot of caterpillars that are a red brown with lots of white fine hairs sticking out from their body. Very pretty but the fine hairs make you itch so much as I had one in my outside boot & although I had socks on, my foot was so itchy, & when I removed my socks , my foot was red & swollen 😳. Lesson well learned! Cheers 🤗❤️🥰💕😍👏
