❤️💕👏 another lovely vlog Sarah, thoroughly enjoyed it. Cheers 💕❤️🥰😍
I don’t know who enjoys your Fridays off more - you or us 😀. I’m glad you enjoyed teaching other crafters. They’ll benefit from your skills but also your enthusiasm and sweet nature. Alfie is a very handsome boy! How lovely to get some time out/lunch with the hubby. Adult time together is always special. See you next week - you’re definitely rocking January so far 👍
Hi and thanks for your lovely comments. Glad you are enjoying my vlogs. Yes me and my husband need more time out together. Helping teach knitting was the highlight of my day 😊

I love these vlogs. It’s fun to have this glimpse into your Fridays.
How cool that you’ve been spreading the joy of knit and crochet with all the people you’ve taught lately! It’s always good to have more of us crafters out there :)
Glad Alfie is feeling better.
Yes I’ve had a lovely time teaching knitting and crochet. Knitting was definitely an easier experience 😊

Hi Elaine. What a lovely thing to say. Thank you ☺️
I can imagine you would be a wonderful teacher Sarah - what a lovely way to spend your day off! x
Hi Ali. What a lovely thing to say. I did enjoy the teaching though 😊
I think you’ve got your life balance just right doing things that you enjoy on a Friday. How lucky to have a yarn festival near you and getting to know some new people with your teaching. I’m pleased with the winner of the Traitors and no spoilers from me! Enjoy your weekend and loving your Friday vlogs. 😊
Hi Penny. Ooh traitors! What a tense ending. Loved it. Yes hopefully the new yarn festival will be held again later in the year. Such a great use of an empty shop space. It was really successful 😊
Lovely to see the countryside! How fun to teach the knitting class. I enjoy seeing how you fill your Fridays. 🥰
Hi Sally. Lucky I had my husband in the car to film the scenery. Always love seeing the land around you too 😊
Thanks Sarah loving your Friday vlogs. Great keeping up with the swimming.
Hi Deborah. Glad you are enjoying the vlogs. So far I’ve always wanted to get in the pool. Maybe that’s the thing, find an exercise that you enjoy and doesn’t fill you with dread 😊
It's been lovely catching up with you on Fridays through January. Well done for keeping up with the swimming. The yarn festival looked brilliant and you make a great teacher I'm sure with your calm, patient and encouraging manner. Have a great weekend 😊
Hi Elaine. Thanks so much for watching throughout January. The vlogs really encouraged me to keep swimming, but I’ve absolutely loved going each week. Wish I could swim more often. 😊
I'm quite enjoying your Friday vlogs. I could see you as a wonderful teacher. You are so patient and kind. Thanks for sharing bits of the festival. Have a great week. Pets to Alfie ❤
Hi Dawn. Thanks for watching and your kind compliments. I’m stroking Alfie as I type this 😊😻
I am loving your Friday VLOGS. Your calm demeanor is a great start to my day. The wool festival looked like a celebration of wool. The displays looked so interesting. I wouldn't have seen it had you not shared it. Thanks.
Hi and thanks for watching. It was great to be part of the yarny festival 😊

Hi Pamela. Thanks for watching. The yarn festival was a real success. So great to have a new local event that will hopefully happen again 😊
It’s really lovely to share your Fridays with you. So important to have some special time for yourself if you can. The wool show looked so good and glad you enjoyed helping. Pleased Alfie is ok and looking gorgeous again. Hope you enjoyed Traitors which was epic! Take care and thank you x

Alfie ❤
That cake 😍😍
The yarn show looked amazing.
Hi and thanks for watching. I had a lovely day 😊
Thank you for a very lovely video Sarah. 🦘
Hi and thanks so much for watching. Glad you enjoyed my simple vlog 😊
What a lovely day you had! And I had a lovely time joining you for snippets of your day. The yarn festival looked excellent and it’s wonderful that you had a chance to teach and encourage some new knitters. I used to love running my knitting club when I was working in school. Thank you so much for all the Friday vlogs so far!
Hi Helen and thanks so much for watching and commenting. It definitely felt easier to teach knitting than crocheting. Within the hour they had already knit a few rows and some were purling too 😊
The yarn festival looked lovely, I wish there was one held nearer to me as they seem so inspiring. A lovely day off for you, thanks for taking the time out to share it with us. Glad Alfie is fine now, animals are so good at healing themselves. You new knitting project looks lovely, I’ve just started my first jumper on circular needles and enjoying it so far, now I’ve got the hang of the shaping 😊
Hi Jackie. Shame you don’t have a local yarn festival. They must be a huge task to organise. I’ve cast on another Felix cardigan as I loved the fit of the last one. Love circular needles. Hope your jumper is working out well 😊
Hi Sarah, I'm so pleased Alfie is ok , he looks so handsome and mischievous with a twinkle in his eyes ❤, you would make a brilliant teacher with your soft and gentle approach 😊 well done for keeping Friday for your self well-being ❤ so look forward to your Friday vlogs, thank you for sharing take care xx
Hi Jenny. Thanks so much for watching and glad you enjoy my vlogs. Yes I definitely make the most of my day off and try and do things that make me feel happy 😊
Thank you for sharing your Friday with us each week. I too volunteered for a couple of hours at the yarn festival yesterday afternoon. It was an amazing event and many visitors were so happy to see designers and yarn in person in their local shopping centre. I’m sure you made a great addition to the knitting class and glad you enjoyed helping. Have a lovely weekend ❤️
Hi Jackie. It was a great volunteering experience and so lovely to chat to people about what they were going to make etc. I hope they run it again. Are you going to Monday craft night? 😊
Hi Sarah, I haven’t been to the Monday evening meeting yet, usually go to the afternoon one, I won’t be able to go this time. I will try to make it next time. I hope you have a lovely evening I’m sure you will ❤
Thank you Sarah love to see you each week
Hi and thanks for watching each week. Really appreciate it 😊
Well done with the swimming and the teaching. Remember The Howard Centre well. Attended a crochet event and the local John Lewis with the talented Janie Crow. Love to Alfiexxxx
Hi Fiona. Janie Crow had a wonderful stall at this festival. Her designs and blankets were all available to see and touch. 😊
If I needed to learn to knit I’d definitely choose you to teach me!
Wish you a lovely creativ weekend 🤗❤️
Hi Flora. Thanks for watching and same to you. I’m planning to knit and cut out fabric for a new dress 😊
Wish you were my knitting teacher .
Hi Fariba. Thanks for watching. I’d love to be able to teach on a regular basis. 😊
You’re doing so well, Sarah with your swimming, well done. Such a good all round exercise. Is’nt it lovely to teach others, so satisfying and rewarding and you’re a natural. You have a lovely way about you, that’s perfect for teaching, patience, kindness and understanding. I think you’ll be in demand! X💕
Hi Barbara. Thanks for your lovely compliments. I’m loving swimming again and really want to go each week. I also really enjoyed teaching knitting. Would definitely like to do that more 😊
Another lovely Friday vlog, I’d heard about that Wool Festival on another podcast and it being a bit different with it being held in a shopping centre, so that was a nice surprise to see some of it, thank you x
Hi Gail. Yes the organisers did a great job of making use of the empty shop space. Other exhibitions have been held there too. A quilting group were also keen to do a similar thing. 😊
Happy Friday Sarah! Is that a new cast on I spy on your needles? I think you must be a natural teacher ~ so calm and patient. Funny to think I was taught using long needles (many years ago) but they are much trickier than a circular needle. Glad you've had a lovely day 😊
Hi Caroline. Yes I’ve cast on another Felix cardigan as I loved the fit of the last one so much. Yes those long needles. One person gripped the length of it under her arm. I remember being a little girl learning to knit on needles the size of dpns 😊
@@yarnmugspodcast9123 oh yes, I remember those grey plastic and slightly bendy needles!! I've just treated myself to 3 skeins of Eden Cottage DK so might see if I can squeeze a Felix cardi out of those 😊
@@caroline.seasidegirlknits yes I made mine with 3 skeins of Dk and size 3
