Hello Sarah, thanks for sharing snippets of your Friday. The garden, the birds and sunshine - all lovely. Your dress looks comfy but I agree that a smaller body size next time might be the way to go. Shoulders and neck are perfect, and floaty is great for hot weather - it’s definitely a preference to how floaty you want it. Hope the weather continues to be nice for your weekend. 🤗🇨🇦

Love your dress Sarah, a floaty dress is so comfortable in the warm weather. Your shrubs look so pretty and your trees too. I missed the Northern Lights here last night, but hopefully they are due back this evening, so will stay up! X💕

@@yarnmugspodcast9123 Hi Sarah, no, unfortunately, there were no Northern Lights here last night due to cloud and no stars. I stayed up until 2am, hoping. Wished I’d stayed up on Friday night and seen them, but I had a painful arm after Shingles jab. X💕

Hi Sarah, I love your dress, it reminds me of one I had a few years ago. In the summer I’d get home from work, shower then wear my oversized dress for the evening. So comfortable, enjoy wearing yours 😊

Hasn't it been wonderful to see some sunshine?! Your dress is lovely and I think the navy panels work so well. I love a floaty dress but agree you could use less fabric if you make it again. Your planters are looking so pretty. Do you find the bark chippings help to keep weeds at bay? What about cats? I know your Alfie would never be so naughty but my neighbours' cats just love using my planters for their bathroom 🤨 Have a lovely weekend xx
Hi Caroline. Yes lovely to have some sunshine. I’ll definitely make a smaller dress next time. Bark really helps with weeds. Alfie poos on the grass and he shoos off any other cats 😊

The beautiful birdsong reminded me of our most recent campervan trip, when we woke in a Scottish wood to the most glorious dawn chorus! Your new dress looks lovely and cool for the hotter weather. Your garden is looking very pretty and even after all the rain, it’s time to start watering the plants in the evening and I’m doing the same. Your dress looks lovely and cool and I love the combination of the fabrics. Did you see anything of the Northern Lights last night as they were seen all over the country. 😊
Hi Penny. Thanks for watching. We are really happy with our simple garden this year. We didn’t see the northern lights as we were in bed but my daughters friends captured some beautiful photos 😊
Hasn't the weather been glorious? I love your dress as it is, but I am a fan of loose things anyway! I love that pattern and fancy giving it a try in double muslin gauze. Its definitely salad weather now isnt it?
