Coconut Almond Buns
Dough:
7g (2¼ tsp) active dry yeast
14g (1 tbsp) sugar
250ml (1 cup) warm milk
500g (4 cups) all-purpose flour
8g (1 tbsp) vanilla sugar or 1 tsp vanilla extract.
50g (4 tbsp) sugar
3g (1 tsp) salt
42g (3 tbsp) butter, melted.
1 large egg
I divide the dough into two and use only half for this recipe.
The other half of the dough I use it for another recipe.
Coconut filling for the half dough:
135g (1½ cups) desiccated coconut
42g (3 tbsp) melted butter
1 egg
125ml (1/2 cup) milk
50g (4 tbsp) sugar
1 tsp vanilla sugar
Indonesian
Roti Kelapa Almond
Adonan:
7g (2¼ sdt) ragi kering aktif
14g (1 sdm) gula pasir
250ml (1 cangkir) susu hangat
500g (4 cangkir) tepung serbaguna
8g (1 sdm) gula vanila atau 1 sdt ekstrak vanila.
50g (4 sdm) gula pasir
3g (1 sdt) garam
42g (3 sdm) mentega, lelehkan.
1 telur besar
Saya membagi adonan menjadi dua dan hanya menggunakan setengah untuk resep ini.
Separuh adonan lainnya saya gunakan untuk resep lain.
Isi kelapa untuk setengah adonan:
135g (1½ cangkir) kelapa kering
42g (3 sdm) mentega cair
1 telur
125ml (1/2 cangkir) susu
50g (4 sdm) gula pasir
1 sdt gula vanila

Looks like a yum recipe, you just make everything look so simple, btw what did make out of the other half dough, as I too would make only half the portion as nobody in my house likes coconut flavour except me

Hi Nini, kebanyakan resep saya menggunakan tepung serbaguna dan hasilnya sangat lembut. Kita bisa juga pakau cakra.
Roti buatan rumah tanpa bread improver atau dough softener memang mudah keras jika kena udara terbuka terlalu lama.,
Simpan dikantong plastik atau kotak roti spy tetap empuk, hangatkan lagi sebelum disajikan.

Apa yang dimaksud dengan gula vanila Ninik?.tq.
Gula vanila adalah gula pasir yg dicampur vanilla dlm waktu lama sehingga gulanya menyerap extract vanila. Umum digunakan di Jerman dan negara sekitarnya.
Kita bisa menggunakan vanilla extract atau essence cukup 1 tsp saja.
I couldn't find vanilla sugar in supermarkets here in Tauranga New Zealand.
No problem, then please vanilla extract 1 tsp.
How long this bread will stay at room temperature?
Max 3 days, reheat before serving.

Why my buns too dry from inside but I used proper measurements🤔
The inside supposed to be moist from the filling. The filling that contains butter, sugar, and egg will moisten the coconut..
