I love Big Z. When it comes to competition he has zero personality and it’s all about the points. My favourite Z interview moment was when he said to an interviewer how he has like over 150 strongman trophies in house. The interviewer asks, “wow, where do you put all of those” then he completely deadpan just says to her “I have big house.” With no expression whatsoever on his face, class. 😂
I love how he isnt arrogant, just keeps to himself and puts up big numbers. Respect

Robert Oberst is still pretty new to the sport on a professional level and had already held and holds multiple national records and one world record. If you had been invited to WSM with in the first year of competing in amature stongman you would be cocky too. Give him time. Eddy Hall and Brian Shaw recognize him as a peer in the sport. He has earned his stripes

Best part is, they're friends outside of competing. They may not be, but they do talk trash to each other a lot just to poke at each other. They end up laughing about it backstage, and it's not because they thought they had the crowd fooled. (Feel free to embarrass me if I'm wrong. I'm just speaking from what I've seen between them)

Gotta love Shivlyakov and his heart. Despite arguably being the real world toughest of the bunch, being a Russian marine/Spetznaz, despite this he always seems to truly be having fun and enjoy every moment of competition. I’ve always seen him in good spirits, even when injured, even in loss, this guy will genuinely congratulate you for beating him with a smile on his face

None of the strongman competitors are natural. There is no drug testing because steroids are part of strongman. Hafthor said he uses steroids in a video. No one, not one called him a cheater because they are all on it.

@@AlexyTousignant eddie was very close but smarts and technique are what put Big Z ahead of eddie in shoulder presss. Eddie didnt kniw how to use his legs throughout the lift. Big Z had the better mechanics and thats why he pressed 500 pounds and eddie did not. Eddie had the strength to do it but he couldnt put it together. They both squat about same. Both are so strong in legs. Eddie deads are better and his bench. Z isnt too far behind . I think z had a 600 pound bench at one point too.

david selawsky big z shoulders stronger than eddie. Zydrunas beats him in technique and shoulder power. Eddie cant even lift the austrian oak log at arnold classic competition which is 455lbs. Zydrunas reps it like its nothing.

Zaine Ridling we’re all aware of that, but it does make it a little more entertaining and helps the crowd decide who they wanna route for. Eddie Hall said in one of his interviews that he doesn’t mind being the bad guy because he’s there to win for himself. I’m not saying Pro Strongman should be predetermined or scripted, but Oberst playing to the crowd as the foreign prick was entertaining. Hell even Floyd Mayweathed learned how to manipulate a crowd from his short time in wrestling, because if done right it can be entertaining and put asses in seats
