Witness insane Strength of Eddie Hall in Farewell Strongman Competition

- This is the contest where Eddie Hall won his 5th British title in a row.
The reigning Britain’s Strongest Man - Eddie Hall came into 2018 having just won the World’s Strongest man title 6 months before.
GrahamHicks was on the rise and had been 2nd twice to Eddie,
And The Beast had sustained a severe hip injury after winning the World’s Strongest Man in 2017 in Botswana. But wanted one more title in front of his fans in Britain
To win the BSM 2018 title, Hall had to keep his injury under control and try to beat the likes of Graham Hicks and 11 other World Class strongmen for a record 5th title
It was to be Hall's final full strongman contest, and he made strength history! …
A record 5th title was more than any other British athlete since the BSM TV debut in the 1970s. - Sport
What would Eddie's chances be if he came back for a 6th title? Could he mix it again if he wanted?
If he went all into it, absolutely
He’s a lot fitter now and if trains for WSM
he would be in with a good shout
No way. Eddie is a CZcamsr now.
No
@@jje984 but pain is nothing remember - he's a great guy but obviously full of shit as well his hip only hurts when something goes wrong
'hip injury has left him weak'
Interesting definition of weak.
I guess when your the Worlds Strongest Man weak just means your only as strong as 9.5 men instead of 10 lol.
And that you can still lift a car just without the keys in it. Ya know keys = lot of weight.
I love Eddie and I'm NOT doubting he was injured to some degree but I honestly feel he over hyped the injury for 2 reasons, first to show how well he can do while hurt and secondly as an excuse if he were to lose.
@@andrewdecker616 u can never know
the dehyrdration levels were off the scale
He was basically a prune
what do you mean>?
@@craigburt281 he means that there was very little water inside the stadium. Did you see any swimming pools on stage? Me neither. Case closed.
S S you’re definitely american
@@elitetilinguk3757 why?
All fart and dehydrated jokes, complaining about how late Brian is aside, Eddie is one hell of an athlete. You forget about his greatness sometimes because of his child like behaviour.
He also used to be humble, now he's a bit too arrogant for my liking.
Stephen Reeves can’t blame him, If I deadlifted over 1000 pounds I’d be arrogant as well
@@mattger9260 it's not so much what he's achieved. He's done what he wanted to do, but sometimes it seems like he can barely hide his contempt for the people around him. I have massive respect for him, he's just not for me these days.
Oh and he was still fairly humble even after his 500, even after wsm. It was only when he retired and became the not as big I am that his personality changed and he became the brash mouthpiece we so often see these days. I don't see too many others in the sport of strongman like that.
Stephen Reeves yeah I understand but maybe he’s acting this way to motivate himself or for an image on tv. Either way he’s still an amazing athlete
Maybe he's in constant nagging pain etc. and that's affecting his demeanor?
Hicks' look at 7:46 towards Eddie after those 15 deadlift reps without a belt says it all... DAMN DUDE, YOU REALLY ARE A BEAST
Brilliant mini-documentary. I would love more stuff like this
Oh youre gunna get it :p
Derek Weinert TV is he? When? Why?
Derek Weinert TV that’s what she said
Really miss watching Eddie competing
shredding world records*
Larry Wheels may be the next superstar :)
He said it himself,,, That Eddie Hall got upto 200 kg,,, what if he did it too ? How strong can he be on his peak ? :D !!!
My money’s on mateusz kieliszkowski, he’s an absolute beast already and when his deadlift comes together, which it will in time, I don’t think anyone will stop him for the foreseeable future
@@DaveGeelen88 depends on how much steroids he pumps up his body
@@oOAKBOo Nothing stops Mateusz but injuries, and deadlift
"I fumbled my sack"
Eddie Hall, 2018
Andrew Gordon hahahaha
happens to the best of us.
Andrew Gordon 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Niccceeee
Hall, Shaw, and Thor are all static monsters..
StealthAssasin 1Day Thor is really athletic too.
Yet thier gentle giants lol
@@alialtinel2960 imagine if thor work on his form for some movements
Brian is also unmatched in the super heavy yoke
And big z
While Eddie is injured, you gotta give it to Hicks for being right behind him while being 100+ lbs lighter
Eddie looks a lot better now that he's lost a ton of weight!!!
Hahahaahahahahahahha
simon jackson he's healthier too
@@tonybarfridge4369 but dehydrated ;(
😂he just lost like 10kgs or so
simon jackson less scary too
8:43
Hicks: High-five bro.
Hall: AHHHHHHHHHHHHH
Sounded like the heavy lmao
Eddie: AHHHHHH dont touch me you mortal !
:DDDD
Considering Graham Hicks weighs 50 kilos less than Eddie Hall, he's damn strong...Also, handshake fail at 8:40!
Hearthlete TV those 50kg are fat which makes it harder for Eddy.
It was uncalled for from eddie side
@@GinoNL what? He got to that bodyweight because it helped him massively with static lifting. That was his choice. What a stupid thing to say
Honestly acted like a bit of a prick towards Hicks through the competition, don't know if there was some behind the scenes beef between them or he's just being competitive but not very sporting.
It's not look like ... He's not looking in that angle
12:42 LOL. Did they insert that sound effect?
haha wtf
Lmao 🤣 they definitely added the actual sound to it in post. Still legit just in a funny way lol
He only has 60% of his voice...
@Conshe Tumare could you send us the link of that video?
I think it was someone in the audience close to the commentators. Seems less likely here but its happened before so its a possibility
The almost-unconscious level is off the charts .
Hicks looks very healthy for a strong man, the weight he lifts with his body size/weight is crazy. Hes not busting like some of the other strongmen.
Weight moves weight.
Ya a flaw of his, then again i doubt he's choosing to stay smaller, eating and absorbing calories is hard work
Hiks trying to talk to eddie,
eddie is out of it tho :(
probably didnt even hear hicks tbf
@ihategooglespooks yes :D this, yes.
@@getstrongby4038 Eddie is a class act - Much like Hicks but you won't see that on Camera - Very nice and funny guy, never take him to heart
@getstrongby40 You do realise that every strongman called Eddie an idiot and some even worse because of his claims that he’d be the world strongest man, get a 500kg deadlift, etc. I think the little dick moves to certain strongman are in response to anything they said to him.
Eddie was in world of pain due to his hip.
Eddie Hall still win with his hip injury...
Congrats Eddie!
8:40 *REJECTED*
It was uncalled for
2:06 this man is so big that he is wearing knee sleeves as elbow sleeves
Eddie had the edge in overall heart and determination. As with most competitions he was in. That made the difference.
“That 60% Beast can beat the hole of Britain.” Wow u forget sometimes how much this man has achieved not just for himself but for his country. He is one of the strongest men in the world and will go down as one of England’s renowned athletes.
Pain is nothing, pain is pain - Eddie The Beast
Roids are roids.
@@soundsofnature7015 ur saying he's on roids?
Eddie puts on just so much weight it looks uncomfortable but that just shows how much work he puts into it
Pain is an emotion Eddie, you’re a legend
Hall his beat & with the hip injury still win -that amazing
Grown up watching these greats. Still watch you every year and still love watching it.
I forget how strong he his watching his channel he is a big goofball 😂
Love what you said pain is pain am take that too heart next time I feel like giving up thank you Mr.Hall
Amazing performance from Eddie. Incredibly Inspiring. Especially the part in the end where he says that if you keep working hard, you can attain amazing results !
I wonder how a man like Eddie can be so down to earth after conquering such amazing feats.
"Work hard and keep your head down and you can achieve amazing things" Thanks Eddie for the advice.
Truly a beast! The man is a legend ! Amazing work ethic and drive.
You just know he went into this one fully hydrated
Hicks at 138kg was never going to beat an injured hall purely because he was 186kg. That's almost an average female difference in mass
Hicks is massively strong for his height and weight. incredibly so
Hicks is a monster
He is great being 5'10 to go against Eddie
Hicks got the power to weight ratio.
Hicks closing in at that ATWR in powerlifting
Grown to love eddie . Hes a good guy as well as being a " beast" 👌👌
12:19 When I'm constipated
Yes!!! Eddie hall YOUR MY INSPIRATION AND
*YOU* *ARE* *INDEED* *THE* *WORLD* *STRONGEST* *MAN*
Eddie is my favorite strongman competitor I hope he retains the title
I cant believe Eddie is just 30. These guys really beat up their bodies, he looks 50. Its the sacrifice of the sport. Congrats Eddie
I have been binge watching you lately. I loved the History Channel show you were in with the other guys. You 4 are great men, role models, and amazing family men. You are absolutely HYSTERICAL! Unfortunately its a bromance!!😂😂 But you 4 together were like 4 giant babies and definitely complimented each others personalities. You are an inspiration. Can only hope you like my comment! STAY "THE BEAST" STRONG BROTHER!!!
Eddie Hall you are legendary. Pure will. Absolutely incredible.
Eddie “THE BEAST” Hall 👏🏼👏🏼☝🏼☝🏼☝🏼 Pain is Temporary ! Absolute beast of a Man ! What an Achievement 💪🏼
Am getting dehydrated by just watching what these's strong man are lifting.😊😊
Eddie was not dehydrated this day 😅😅🤣🤣
I can drink an ocean and not be hydrated lol
Eddie, you’re a champion, mate! 👍
work hard keep ya head down and you can achieve amazing things
Eddie you are one of the best Beast mode All the way It's a shame we have to get old☝️✌
Roll on December for more Giants Live/WSM.
Only good thing about Xmas!
So much respect for these men.
2:16 WTF. Imagine walking in on that.
Great battle! Eddie The Beast for a reason
Eddie looks much healthier (particularly in his face) now that he's lost some weight.
Sam Miller Wow really?
pain is nothin pain is pain dont let it stop you wise words from eddie💯💯
I'm just glad Eddie doesn't sound like a girl when he yells like Geoff Capes.
6:01 bills mouth looks like he is geeking out on some good coke
Yeah, what's up with that? He does it on every interview

Great to see Eddie again
more mental than physique. Hall my hero
Eddie so AWESOMENESS!! He officially Legendary.
Eddie’s mental strength and willpower is just ridiculous
9:53 seems very british of him to try and explain the comedy 😂😂 oy chaps it's funny cause this here...😂😂
This is goosebumps central 👏
12:42 play 😂
Hear it perfect timing 👌
for the first time when people whistled eddie I took it personally, besides being a great athlete he is a fanastic person.
13:36 the hardcore rejection
He showed how smart and experienced he is in this one.
Eddie is an inspiration.
As the new decade arrives Eddie goes full clickbait
Hope you come back to WSM
Dam. What a fight. Hicks hit him with everything he had and barely came up short.
What a battle. It’s like watching Brian Shaw and big Z all over again
Amazeing warrior🔥💪
2 years older, 50kg lighter and still giving this 30yr old beast a run for his title!! You almost feel bad for hicks, If Eddie didnt exist, Grahams dreams would have been realized years ago!
Baddest man to ever live......Eddie Hall
Congrats Eddie that was dope
Pain before success
Eddie Hall is simply amazing
The heart of a friendly giant:>) Eddie the NicestBeast :>) he deserved 5 titles and he's right life is what you make it or what you allow others to make it, choose your own path and nothing comes easy in life except time.
Man, you are so strong!
Eddy Hall is a warrior and a champ what a man
GO ON EDDIE!!! 🏴
Winning deadlift without a belt. What a monster.
I really do enjoy these recaps/mini-documentaries. If possible, it would be really cool if y'all could give a a running total on points after each event. That would help give us a better idea of the stakes and help us understand when the athletes make strategic decisions, like when Eddie didn't bother to attempt the 5th log press. Those sorts of decisions are absolutely part of the sport.
I love how this beast of a man can throw a cheesy grin and become the world largest toddler smiling like Christmas morning
They’re amazingly powerful beasts. but ya really need to watch gaining all tht weight...diet becomes a major factor
Goosebumps
Work hard..keep the head down..👍
just a bit of feedback mate. banners and type are unnecessarily large taking up too much screen. Forgive but who's the guy interviewing who seems to mouth the answers to his questions
Imagine the strength he would have if he is hydrated.
These were the golden days
Were’s that Eddie 2 documentary that was supposed to be coming?
Pray an act of perfect contrition everyday
Your awesome Eddie
I rly hope they went out after for some chips so Hicks can finally high-five/hug/congratulate or just exchange a few words to Eddie the same way he’s tried throughout this whole video 🥺 I know it’s a lot of mental and physical strength so it took a lot out of Eddie to even be aware of anything else around him but still seeing Hicks gettin ignored made me )’:
Quite sobering for the other competitors, he’s at 60% and still wins, shows how much better he is than the others, still won the deadlift against the supposed favourite, without a belt... mental.
inspiration
Well done Ed xden big fan xx
Strongest man to ever walk the face of the earth
