This item is a rarity, it was the first time I saw the most powerful item in the lore, being the most powerful in the game
True lol, pretty much random shit is normally the strongest items in ff games, like literally the strongest weapon in 9 is a sword your friends henchmen find and leave for you with a note if you beat the games fast enough.
I did the Adamantoise without using the Ring for my first run, but when i went to farm him afterwards, i used the ring and i got Alterna to work on the first try. I was shooked.
Same, i just started wacking it with my sword till it dies. Took almost an hour to kill. Then i saw you can one shot it with the ring and i was like...... wish i knew that the first time.
How do I even cast alterna with the ring ;-;

The real question, is it a wormhole? Or just a very strong gravity spell that just sucks in everything like a black hole and crushes them down to dust.
I say a blackhole since it banishes the enemy off the world.
I think it's a black hole that send its targets to another dimension.

Yes! In my LV1 save is still working, so the ring is still being OP xD
Does a higher magic increase the chance?
To be specific: it does for Death, but not for Alterna. Death's effectiveness caps out when you have 500 Magic, but Alterna is RNG-based.
I literally didn’t even remember how to use that ring and beat everything regular, I had a friend and he couldn’t beat adamtoise and I told him see if that ring works, it did, I was fucking trippin.
Dude I really beat those tonberrys Mano a Mano, it was a challenge for me atleast I personally thought that was the hardest mission in the game and I 100% that game.

I haven’t played this game since Day 1 so I may be remembering wrong, but didn’t the Ring of the Lucii suck energy from the enemy, until there was nothing left? I don’t remember it being a nuke
Also, what you are talking is the first magic *Death*, there are two other Holy and Alterna (which is the one used in the video)

Alterna is a hit-and-miss with Adamantoise, because the wiki mentions it is highly resistant to it. During my first battle, I did less than 10 tries and was able to kill it. The second time, I gave up after 20+ tries and used Death instead. I'm farming it for Exp, so let's how I'll do the third time.

I can understand. I am a huge fan and just played XV for the first time.
Took me about 2 months to beat it. I'm still doing more to "complete" the game and have well over 230 hours of gameplay invested into my save file.
It was a truly wonderful game. The combat seems slightly repetitive, as you can continuously warp strike to and away from most enemies as a solid strategy. For me, the graphics were better than FF7 remake. I mean, this game is BEAUTIFUL and it was released about 6 years ago.
The characters are very loveable and their banter amongst each other is hilarious.
I cried buckets playing this game. It really is a testament to how lovable and relatable the friendship is amongst these characters.
