Thank you for making another great video as always!!
You got one thing wrong, Mindy's pasado has way more damage output potential than Anima's overdrive... you're welcome.
Excellent high quality video!
@@Eat_My_Bumhe actually got two things wrong. Opera GX was launched in 2019, not 2009.
@@eddythefool Yeah he sucks...
I remember as a kid whenever I'd obtain Bahamut in an FF I just knew it was going to be awesome
Anima just looks like such a badass, definitely one of my favourite summons
This is reminding me how it was used as a dungeon boss in XIV... So much wasted potential, and they even brought back the original artist to update it for the game. I wish they would redo Anima and The Magus Sisters as actual trials, because they really deserve that.
And her back story is grim and adds such a crazy depth to a certain character too.
Anima and Magus sisters are a PITA to get in FFX.
I genuinely think Anima is the perfect summon. The baaj temple could have easily just been a throw away location at the start of the game with a later game monster substituting a boss battle and Anima could have just been a cool cutscene and boss battle and explained away as it was Seymour's final aeon that he never used but combining all those elements was just an amazing integration of gameplay and storytelling. It wasn't too difficult to find and figure out what to do. I summoned across it by accident when you compare that to knights of the round and pretty much everything in FFXII. It also kind of feels rewarding on the replay when you see the withered bouquet and who is the Aeon
plus him maxed out and ovwerdrive, unreal
Nothing was cooler to me as a kid than seeing Anima's overdrive or paying Yojimbo exorbitant sums of Gil for instant death. Truly my two favorite summons from the entire franchise in the same game.
& RIP to all the trash mobs I chained KotR on. I didn't care if you were an end game boss or low level random encounter. Once I got that materia, I chained it every encounter going forward as a kid. The animation length was nothing compared to the time it took to get a gold chocobo 😂
Ifrit got so much love in ff16
Well he's kind of a main character
Seems like these should be weighted based on relative hp pools between games.
agreed, a summon that deals lets say 15000+ damage in a game where the base damage limit is 99999 and the enemy health is increased in accordance (FFXIII being a prime example) should be comparable to one that does 1500+ damage in a game with the standard 9999 damage limit
Was literally just thinking about how the numbers pale in comparison to Disgaea.
I won't hear any other argument than for my man Yojimbo. He can kill anything and anyone with his Zanmato attack. And there really aren't very many barriers to chaining it over and over again - he only needs to like you. Its been worked out that you can get him to use it for as little as 70,000 gil a time which is nothing in FFX. And even his regular attack will hit for 99,999 HP which is enough to one-shot the vast majority of pretty much anything in the franchise.
Money doesn't buy happiness in real life and it doesn't in Spira either
@@mattsully2238tell that to Brother
Yojimbo is definitely my favorite not-Odin, for sure. An absolute MVP of any X run.
Yojimbo is a speedrunner's go-to strat for a lot of fights in some speedruns...
Unless you actively made Yojimbo hate you, there's basically NO way to drop the chance of Zanmato to 0
What's your opinion on the theory that the Fayth for Yojimbo is Gilgamesh?
I am a 7 thru 10 fan, and it was the summons that drew me to the games. I love em, and my favorites are Anima from X (so badass), Eden from 8 (love the animation), and Knights of the Round from 7 (if they dont include them in the remake games i will be sad). I also loved Ark from 9, I just hated that it could not break the damage limit. I mean, it's a boat that turns into a friggin Gundam that blows up a huge area, and only 9999? Summoning forever!!!!!!!
I liked that nothing could break the dmg limit in FFIX, but that cast animation for Ark was unforgivable. Use it once just to see it and then never summon that thing again. I ain't got all day 😅
@mitchellholcomb1561 lol so true. Thank God we had the skip option
IX not breaking cap meant the tankiest creature in the entire game was the Friendly Yan with ~65k hp
Knights of the rounds + Mime all day
Knights of the round + Hp absorb and Master Summon + Mp Absorb. basically, elixir on self and infinite cast forever. @@tjadams1057
Summons are probably my favorite aspect of FF. Just these cool creatures that usually are ridiculously strong and often require sidequests to get the best ones, or alternatively huge threats that are essentially gods like in FF XIV.
Its probably why my favorite FF games are the ones where summons are an integral part of the plot.
The strongest summon is perfect Alexander from FF14 the moment that big boy stood up i knew something was wrong
Forward and back
The music is cool too. I use it to jog to 🤣
PRAISE BE TO ALEXANDER
The guy is literally a megazord in the FF universe
@@sazacu1as awesome as Alexander's TF is, Brute Justice is the megazord.
I love summoning mechanics in games. My favorite is Judgement from Golden Sun.
Hands down the best one
ayo, another golden sun fan. Good to meet yers
@@starrk7158 which summoning version you like best? The original from the GBA games? Or the more animated version from Dark Sun on the DS?
@@crimsonmaelstrom573 ooo that's a good question. Probably GBA because they are more memorable and I played them a lot more. Which is pretty unfair from a bias perspective. So to give proper judgement. I'd have to play through them all again.
@@starrk7158 in order to give proper judgment on Judgment 😁😂
Such a shame that you don’t see Anima reappear often as a summon. As it is a dark element summon and that role is usually given to Diabolos. Anima’s design is just so good and iconic, that whenever you see it reappear in other FF games other than 10, the design stay mostly the same.
The reason for that I think, if I remember correctly, is that Anima was a creation born from Seymour's anger. It's the only summon created by a human(oid) in the Final Fsntasy universe. It's also the only summon which isn't named after a mythological god, I think. Anima is an anomoly specific to Seymour and therefore couldn't really be transferred to other games. I agree he is supercool, though.
@@nusaniwe anima shows up in FF14 and Brave Exvius.
@@corxiiifelinike2643 ah ok, well I still like what I said and maybe they shouldn't have used Anima in that way in FF14 and Brave Exvius lol but alright alright ;)
but what you said isnt really the actual lore . All summons in FFX are born from people. they are all people who give their life up to Yevon and become Fayths.and She is the physical manifestation of Seymours mother feelings, not his. About the naming, many summons dot get their name from Gods, but rather mythical creatures, like Carbuncle or Siren@@nusaniwe
@@corxiiifelinike2643I think op meant traditional single player ones, not the mmo and mobile games.
I remember renting this VHS tape from Blockbuster that was basically an FFVII strategy guide on video that actually showed footage of what you had to do. I tried to dig up that video in recent years but it's basically lost media at this point. It was with the help of that tape that I was able to breed a gold chocobo and acquire Knights of the Round.
EDIT: AN ABSOLUTE HERO FOUND THE TAPE IN QUESTION ON CZcams. IT WAS HERE ALL ALONG!
czcams.com/video/i3j2B-TyJ7I/video.html
I was lucky to have internet access at the time... Printed almost 20 pages explaining all of the missables and how to breed Chocobo
I remember an ad in either a magazine or something else back when it first came out for something like that. It had CG images from the game, I want to say Sephiroth. It wasn’t an ad for the game, it was an ad for tips on how to play and I very clearly remember it having an MTV branding in it.
I hope that helps with the search! MTV did do some game related things back in the day.
@@ExcuseZerohaha I wrote it all down in a notepad that I still have from my AOL searches lol
@@Phantasiafan87 you might be right. I remember the host of the thing was some eccentric dude wearing some black futuristic-like outfit. He wouldn't look out of place in an MTV production from back then is basically what I mean
I have that VHS. When DVD was gaining momentum, my local blockbuster threw all of the guide VHS in the trash, and I hopped in the dumpster (unrelated reasons) and stumbled upon them. They made FF8, Crash Bandicoot 2 and 3 (on one tape), Mario 64, Goldeneye (which was a trash guide lol) and a lot more.
Like they mentioned, Anima's overdrive only does 1 hit in the NA version. But one of the Magus Sisters' abilities, Passado, hits several times and can deal well over the standard 99999 of most attacks. So Anima's overdrive might be the strongest attack in some versions, but in the originals the strongest summon is actually the Magus Sisters. Also, they can spam that attack without needing the overdrive full!
Talking about 7 summons I do wonder how the remake series will handle Bahamut and the knights of the round when they get to them. That said great video FFU.
yeah, there was basically 3 bahamuts in the original (doing Megaflare, Gigaflare, and Terraflare) respectively, and then crisis core added another, doing Exaflare... Just going by that alone, there's potential for 4 different bahamuts to be in the FF7 remake.
And then add on that they could always bring in one using Zettaflare (the strongest one of them all), like another FF game did.
@@DarkFrozenDepths Ya we could see new ones added in to the already large FF7 summon family.
Given how summons seem to work in the remake, I'd be surprised if we saw KotR come back in the same form as the original. I hope like hell they somehow do, though.
@@Loctorak To be honest in the remake format I see us controlling 1 and or switching out between one of them and for the big attack all of them are called forth.
What makes Ifrit from XVI special is he's not the traditional Ifrit of the older games but the true form of an actual god.
Want it ifrit and Phoenix combine that was a god not just ifrit himself
Anima is also one of the most tragic characters in the franchise. Her story is so sad.
Her story is also why she's so powerful, as she's not a regular Aeon, she's Seymour's Final Aeon. Final Aeons are beings capable of single-handedly defeating Sin, and then being possessed by Yu Yevon and becoming a new Sin.
@@bobjones4469 Isn't she his mother?
@Izelor yeah she is his mother
What's with the lower half?
@@Wanderingsage7Seymour’s rage
Here is another idea for an evolution video: damage output.
Not every game shows you how strong your attacks are by default. Sometimes you need special item, or you only see a health bar. But with the latest game, they straight up give us a number. And with each new game, the numbers just keep rising
Something funny I learned after beating FF3 is that the highest damage the game displays is 9999, but it actually lets you deal up to 99999 damage, which is the highest number that the in-game records displays.
I still remember the first time I saw Anima in FFX. Then when I got Anima I was like this 🤯
FF4 was my favorite game as a kid, so when I first found the Magus Sisters in FFX, I pretty much fainted
Unconsciously I consider the FF12 Espers as cool enemies because I forget everytime to actually use them, so the Zeromus knowledge is something cool I was unaware of! Pretty nice ♥(well, I'm mostly unaware of most things, but that one stands out to me personally lmao)
The knowledge behind how to best use Espers in 12 is easy to forget because in vanilla it never seemed worth the effort. After ZA, however, Espers weren't so bad (although they could still have been better with gambits).
@@TheBlackSeraph In vanilla, the level 1 espers were still OP - they were basically infinite MP machines
Further cementing why 12 is one of the worst FF games
@@custos3249That's ridiculous, XII Zodiac Age is one of the best games ever, the secret Espers are incredibly fun to find and beat, and some of them are really useful in later marks and trials. Maybe play the game right before writing so much nonsense. You reek of incompetence.
Zodiark and Exodus, both optional bosses, are really useful summons in the later optional content. For example, Exodus can beat Magic Pots without using elixirs.
Last week I was just looking for this very video!! Totally Awesome! Thank You!
thank you for this video , I appreciate your breakdowns and quality of your editing. Alot of nostalgia as im sitting at work ☺🤣
I just can't get enough final fantasy. I love this series especially ff6 the original ff7 9 10 and 16 so much. Please keep making long videos like the new ifrit one you just put out.
Anima and Bahamut FFX were my favourite. So badass looking.
Nice video and information lore! I always like to sit back and enjoy some good Final Fantasy knowledge
Knights of the Round, Eden, Anima, Bahamut(FFXIII), and Ifrit(FFXVI) are my absolute favorite out of the Final Fantasy series' most powerful summons. The sixteenth mainline entry's iteration of Ifrit took cues from Godzilla, and my did the game make him the most badass, especially during the Gurren Lagann inspired battles against Bahamut and Ultima Risen! Anima on the other hand, looked very macabre; however she packed a punch as much as Yojimbo and the Magus Sisters when summoned by Yuna. The second Bahamut mentioned here became the Eidolon form of Caius, while Knights of the Round and Eden take a while to complete their cutscenes, but the damage done to an enemy and post-game boss really felt satisfying for players then and now.
Bahamut is my all time favorite. With FF16 even more. Odin second.
The Magnus sisters are amazing. They might have less damage than Anima on their final attack on their attack but they are better without overdrives
I remember my first time playing Final Fantasy 7 and going through the whole process to get Knights of the Round summon. I remember the first time I casted it and at the end of the casting, I hadn't realized that my jaw and fallen open in complete disbelief at the power that summon had. I just sat there stunned for a few moments.
I literally bred and raced Chocoboo's for hours to get the gold one.. took great pleasure when I finally got the Knights of the Round summon
Because I forgot to get Nihalapoa (twice), I had to get carried by Zeromus to finish the Five Judges. Even with three Seitengrat it was a struggle to burn them without Nihalapoa.
I used Zodiark and all my elixirs.
The Alexander ff9 cutscenes are wild
I love all your summon videos.
Thank you for making another great video as always!!
The first time I ever seen a summon which wowed me was Final Fantasy IV but back in the 90’s when I played it
It was Final Fantasy II for SNES.
rydia, the emo chick, alot of americans first time with summons and it was a blast. I never beat 2 american but it was crazy, the overworld, underworld and moon all in one, fricking huge
I would love to see video on most powerful summons and characters lore wise in all of final fantasy
I like your timeline approach since honestly I think raw numbers wouldn't be really helpful since every game scales at least a little differently
But this video is about raw numbers and ignores the damage to hp scale in older titles, which is why FF16's Ifrit is on top of the list. Just look at the footage chosen for FF16 and/or other videos of it where people fight Ultima Risen as max lvl, best in slot gear and all that. They hit for 40k or even 100k simply using the "Attack" command for each hit of a combo and the boss' hp bar just loses a tiny little tick. Imagine these values in older FF titles. Which is why I think you can't really call Ifrit of FF16 the most powerful in this list. Not a single summon from the other 6 mentioned summons would only deal 1/80th worth of damage to the boss hp in a single sequence or with their Limit Break. Granted the system is slightly different in FF16 and other FF titles with turn-based vs action combat, but there's still the system of a Limit Break and how powerful it is.
In FF16 you could even increase the stagger multiplier from 1.5 to a max of 2.0 by equipping an item. Don't remember what it was called but it's obtained in one of the two dlc's.
Knights of the Round in 7 remake will be awesome. I wonder how that will work though. Can't wait for the Weapons too
The spike damage caused by summons in the older turn based games made more sense back then because even though the animation may have been long, it disrupted the enemy attacks which would have worn your party down fast. In the more modern games, it feels like DPS damage is far more important than spike damage as enemy attacks are generally weaker and healing your PCs seems easier, so I find myself using summoning far less than in the older games.
VII and X are about the only two with truly viable summons from my experience (I haven’t played IX much so I’ll pass on that one). IV to an extent but of course Rydia could just cast Bio/Flare/Meteor over and over and as well. Otherwise, from V on, physical damage is tops. I’m replaying them all right now (just got to X-2 but skipped IX for reasons), and it’s still holding true.
@@jamesbaxter8734summons are not great in IX. The only one who is useful is Odin to instant kill regular monsters but that’s about it, they are severely outclassed by virtually everything and most consider dagger the worst party member
@@clayblondin4356ehh I'd say they are about on par with black magic in 9, tho they get overshadowed by steiner, Freya, and zidane's insane damage potentials. Physical is king in ff9
Doomtrain. The status effects he brings to the table is unmatched.
Utterly fantastic video! Loved it ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
I can't believe you wouldn't mention our lord and savior, Whyt. Or his equally powerful god-tier brethren, Eggman.
That said, this is what charmed me about FF as a whole. Rydia was so got-dang badass, slinging both Black Magic and these powerful AoE monsters that do immense damage, and only she could do them! It's what sold me on the series.
Does anyone know what final fantasy is? The big guy punching the turtle at 2:30.
Bahumat or knights of the round will always be may favorite
Very well said in the intro! 👏👏👏
Hecatoncheire from 13 got also a special power, bringing Vanille to climax
I love your content. You guys made a Final Fantasy book no? Not sure if you guys still have the link.
Also would you be able to do a video on the parallels between Clive and Jon Snow or a video on Wueen Brahne.
Now for another take on this, rather than the max possible output, the easiest summons to reach max cap (including limit break cap)
Cause as you mentioned in FFX, Anima may be the one that can reach the highest possible max damage, but its actually the Mage Sisters who can reach the hard cap the fastest with little work done

"First we're gonna catch 2 good or great Chocobos.
Then we're gonna spend our life savings on greens to speed them up.
Next, we're gonna race them to better our odds of breeding a Special Chocobo.
Now, we gotta steal some Carbo Nuts.
Next, we're gonna mate them to get a Blue or Green Chocobo.
Then we gotta race THIS Chocobo.
Now we gotta fight some battles to give our Chocobos time to recover.
Then we're gonna breed the Chocobos again, and keep resetting the game until we get the one that's the other color that we don't have, AND the opposite gender.
Now we gotta race THIS Chocobo.
Next, we gotta fight some more battles so our newborn Chocobos can grow up.

And now we gotta fight some more battles so that THIS Chocobo can grow up.
Now we gotta catch a Wonderful Chocobo.

So yeah, that's pretty much everything in a nutshell."
-DarkKefka risking his sanity to be an informer.
Yup knights of the round and two mimics was all you needed for the end boss
Ohh, Knights of the Round! I NEVER could grind that hard when I was 10 when FF7 first came out, but my big brother got it and it was spectacular. FF7 Rebirth is only 5 weeks away, so I wonder if NoTR will make it into the game.
Imagine utilizing Alexander from FF9, an eidolen so broken that they locked it away from themselves
Knights of the Round, hands down.
Right?! What other summon can claim to literally be 13x the damage of the second best summon?
Mecha Bahamut is the best looking though. An anthrodragon with mech armor. BEAUTIFUL!
I don't know what I did to achieve this in FF8, but my Zell using Jumbo Cactuar's kamikaze skill would deal about 80k damage.
I remember one-shotting most bosses with it.
Well the System for 16 is so very different that its hard to include it on Such a lift right?
Knights of the round in 7 remake part 3 is gonna go so fucking hard man
While it's not the most powerful damage wise, FFTA2 Phoenix is the most powerful summon in that game since it can fully revive a team. I remember relying on it when fighting the group of lv 99 Tonberries in a small arena. They quickly covered the distance between us and killed my entire team, but my red mage had the angel ring so they were able to come back from the dead and revive the entire party so my team actually could get a chance to attack.
Anima and Magus Sisters and Valefor deserves more and what i mean is they deserve to be in other FF games😔😔😔
The Magus Sisters originated in Final Fantasy 5 (admittedly as a boss)
why valefor?
@@TheBlackSeraphit was 4 but yeah
For FFX, of course Anima deals the most damage on the long term , but for a casual playthrough the Magus Sisters are my favorite, also I kinda like the rng mechanics.
magus sisters, while powerful, aren't 100% reliable when it comes to dealing damage. You can't control them like you can other aeons and a lot of times they'll use defensive spells or such rather than attacking. Plus, Anima's unique attack inflicts Death
A "casual playthrough" that involves getting the Magus Sisters can't be all that casual
Anima does way more damage in a "casual" playthrough. His base damage is way higher, and he can break the damage limit without any unlocked celestial weapons. Magnus sisters only catch up when every attack is at the damage limit anyway and you have Yuna's celestial weapon, neither of which you would do in a casual run
@@CrashSable for me stops being casual when I start capturing monsters and fight superbosses, Omega Ruins and the Magus Sisters is where I draw the line
I always used Eden's animation to cycle until I got The End.
Aside rom that I never used it. Squall and Rinoa could out dps by miles with Lion Heart and Wishing Star.
Anima's dps is usually less than 16x99999 except on trash mobs. If I remember right, anyway. Most enemies where you'd need that much dps reduced that by a lot and were immune to breaks. Could be wrong but I recall reductions to 1/4th per hit seems right. 20-25k x16. Same for most other multi hit attacks end game.
I beat Emerald with 7777 Fever. I had only 2 materia on Cloud and his HP at 9999 So when Emerald did the photocopy move, it knocked Cloud down to 7777 boom. I went to make a coffee lmao
That animation for Eden was so worth it, though. 😁
Proportionally, if you get him (her?) as early as you're able to, Anima is completely ridiculous. A solid 3-4 times stronger than anything else you have at the time.
Plus, it's completely badass. Seymour's mom holding down a demon mummy beast so he can use it as a summon. Wicked.
Godd Stuff starts at: 2:45
I guess it'd be too much to find out how useful these increasing damage output numbers are proportionally to the games they're in. How useful are they against the final and special bosses?
Always thought the ramuh summon on FF15 was funny. Like he grabs Noctis but the others just need to run the hell out of there.
Ifrit in FFXVI is just pure insanity!
I didn’t know they brought back Zeromus as a summon. Zemus/Zeromus was the final boss from FFII (NA)/FFIII (JP).
When I played FFX, I had Anima hitting the 99,999 I loved it, sadly my memory card got wiped so all my hours of play are now gone.
So cool to see where some of ff14 enemies came from
No matter what summon, it’s only recently that any of them can beat Donald Duck and his zettaflare
Mmmh I got the FF13 damage cap achievement with Fangs Stagger phase finisher move 😅
Didn't know that her Summon works too.
Same . High wind was it?
I guess 12 zodiac edition changed things, I played the original version and the best use for summons was to use drain on them to refill regular characters mp
Zeromus still had this use in the original version. It just took a load of setup and it was easy for him to die when you drop him down to 1 HP before he uses his ultimate attack
Exodus also had the possibility of dealing high damage, but the amount done was completely random.
“Pay a considerable amount of cash”
Lol i spent a single gil expecting him to daigoro dark anima and tank a hit for my team, guy straight up zanmato’d him for 1 gil lol.
Knights of the Round + quadramagic + mime = literally everything dies.
Downside: You can make a sandwich and take a nap while that cutscene plays that many times. 🤣
Ifrit finally getting some justice after just being the first summon at many FF games
This was a great video
I wonder if that last summon would come to me
Can't agree with Anima being the strongest of FF10, I think that'd be the Magus Sisters since that's not only 3 summons in one, but Mindy's Passado does just barely less damage than Anima's Overdrive.... assuming it's not the original FF10. Plus, you can get Mindy to spam it. Basically you get 15 hits instead of 16, but no need for an overdrive.
I remember a small clip from a ff10 interview where they said if anima was ever "freed" then nothing would be able to stop it.
Was years ago and was just a translation frim some interview so who knows now
Just wanted to let you know that Yojimbos Zanmato in FFX actually DOES have damage numbers associated with it, they just aren't seen normally.
Anima is without a doubt best summon ever her look is the most unique one in all of ff ever plus she is so super powerful and as such a cool lore no other summon ever had such a nice story ...best summon ever period
mhhhh Odins Summon from Lightning is one of my very favourites🥰💖💖💖
I would mention FF8 Odin, but to be fair, you can't control when he appears, and he gets friggin killed by Seifer
I think the smallest Magus sister can out damage Oblivion. I think the move is called Pasado but she shoots 32 stingers into the enemy and I'm fairly sure that without a maxxed out Yuna I was seeing 30-40k hits without crits. It's been a while though.
finna rigizzle if ya nizzle what i mizzle
+ Alexander in Type 0. You can't use him in gameplay, but he's frighteningly powerful.
Most OP character move still belongs to FF8 Sophie. The End was hilariously OP
I remember playing FF7 for hours straight and I dont exactly remember how I got it to work cause this was years ago but I would beat emerald weapon in like only 2 turns and it was because I could use knights of round like 7 times straight and the followed up by something else completely powerful and STILL only then would I barely get through it... that was a crazy game...took me a long time and wasted hours getting to kill emerald weapon
Summons are what turned me on to the series. They are my favorite part of it all.
Isn't Yojimbo stronger than Anima though because of Zanmato?
Next FF they release should let you summon Sabin, and he suplexes a train onto your foe
Fun fact. Clive does the absolute highest damage in all of final fantasy when he defeats ultima
It's kinda sad that Eden is so powerful compared to other summons in FF8, but its damage output still pales in comparison to some limit breaks so in the end, Doomtrain is the better summon in terms of utility. Poor Eden, at least it gave us a visually awesome fight in FF14.
You're eden and mine were very different. Mine destroyed. Yes loinheart was amazing but eden in there also destroyed most bosses.
And how far did you calculate in different games and the scale different numbers you do in the end game.. i mean 3k damage is not much in 7, but in x-2.. its all relative boii and I dont see a handicap being placed on any to draw them back to the exact same start line on the exact same sprint track..
"We're going in chronological order.*"
*Starting with Final Fantasy VII and skipping IX
I still haven’t finished 16😢
How much did i maximize there damage output apparently not at all
Great list. Other then summons called GF's in VIII. You're list is part on. Anyone saying FFXIV doesn't understand summons and boss fights. My favorite summon ever was eden.
Yojimbo from FFX is the strongest summon in the whole franchise. With luck and the right amount of Gil he can defeat any foe, even the final boss, even the super boss Omega, in a single blow. No other summon can do that in the whole franchise. There's no damage, just instant death in one swing of his sword. Nothing is immune to it.
