Whether it’s Blitz’s flashbanging shield or a scuba helmet that shoots laser beams, there's a myriad of characters in Siege who are both blatantly imbalanced and downright rage-inducing.

The operator that when you’re defending his shield is made of titanium

It feels stronger fighting him
I don't know if its just me but on certain days it takes everything, and on other days: It feels like it takes a pellet and its broken.
Even when it had 800 HP shotguns were a hard counter

Sure, Blackbeard can block bullets for a few shots, but Ash doesn't have a head to start with.
Lemoner Lime exactly, and Blackbeard isn’t that broken unless your fighting him with suppressed vector. 50 health gets shredded by literally every gun
@@tylertonkin989 50 health is enough for 1-2 bullets from defender rifles minimum. In high ranking play, those first initial bullets can be the difference between death or not. He's still pretty strong due to that.

Blackbeard was just a fundamentally flawed/broken operator. Even today an ability that allows you to survive 1 - 2 head shots in game based around head shots is overpowered as hell.
I remember throught my 20 odd hours on bb when he first came out, his shield only broke for me once, and thats when I took a full mag from the sniper 90 to the face.

Glaz didn't need the nerf that made him stationary. After his damage and fire rate got nerfed, he didn't have a high pick rate compared to most breachers

I wouldn't say that Maestro belongs on this list because like you said he isn't broken, he's just really strong and because of his kit he's useful in a lot of situations, not quite as universal as Jager and Lesion but he's never a bad pick.
They should have swapped him out with frost and the sniper90
His cams aren't that good it takes too long to get them open that they get shot before you can do anything tbh
@@ttvchill0nice382 You just need to work on your timing. Saying that his bullet-proof, infra-red laser cam isn't good is completely incorrect. Just because you may not be good with them doesn't make them bad, he's one of the most commonly banned ops in PL for a reason. The ability to see through smokes, give constant information (when someone is watching through it), destroy attacker gadgets and damage attackers is incredibly powerful so his cams are anything but "not that good".

@@ttvchill0nice382 Well that can be said for pretty much every operator, if you die before you set up your gadget then that gadget is useless in the round, that fact doesn't affect Maestro alone. And what do you mean "you're limited on where you can place them"? You can place them pretty much anywhere that isn't a ceiling or ridiculously high wall. They made it so he could only place them where players could reach it otherwise the only counters to the gadget would be projectiles that could be caught by an ADS and having Sledge and Maverick counter him be completely pointless if they couldn't reach them.

@@aguspuig6615Yes and no. All guns have different mobility ratings meaning even if all 3 speeds are the same base speed they are faster and slower based on the weapons mobility. The R4c had/has a very high mobility stat which is why she was/is notoriously fast. Also due to the way hit boxes used to be in the game with 1 and 3 speeds having very different size hit boxes combined with her speed and ping/desync issues her hit box used to frequently be in front of her actually play model which is why she was known for having no/ a tiny inconsistent hit box.
U have no idea how many times I’ve been shot through my shield and they increased the time between his stuns

Lion isn't overpowered and he never was, lion didn't deserve the nerf.
Lion was a balanced operator before his last patch, which is why it's f*cking stupid they said he was still broken, but overall Lion WAS broken when he was released but that changed, and the every single Diamond player who couldn't clutch a 1v1 in Copper 4 said he was still broken, they got what they wanted and they are now saying that Jackal is broken when previously they couldn't care less
Ela is a perfect example of how op operators can be just by their weapon loadout alone..

Twitch is not near the same level as ela was. If you take any twitches drone she is balanced. If you take away pre nerf ela gadget she is just as strong

The logic behind it is because the standard MP5 did 30 damage for Doc/Rook and players were playing them Hyper-Aggresively when they should be an anchor/deny late push op.
Echo didn't receive the nerf as his whole kit RELYS on him staying immobile and getting ready for the late push.

- 2 speed FBI Shield Recruit
Probably the strongest variant of the Recruit ever existed, and the only 2 speed shield op ever existed for a long ass time. Was removed eons ago.
- 3 speed GSG9 M860 attack Recruit
No need to explain that. An absolute unit
- Mute, Bandit, Thermite and Tatcher; before the Ban pick in ranked
Basically the entire game was standing on those 4 f*ckers, especially out of Bomb modes
- Fuze, after that massive buff on his gadget
Went from "Oh, he's fuzing. Better move to the other side of the objective" to "They have Fuze *panic screams* "
2:16 suppressors in real life actually increases bullet velocity as they increase the barrel length and confine the gass that propels the bullet for a longer period of time which lets the bullet continue to accelerate even tough it’s at a lower rate

I would say Lion beats out Blackbeard since Lion's gadget couldn't just be nerfed, he had to be removed from pro play, revised, and he is STILL an oppressive operator.
I remember the week BB came out I got like 19 aces on attack just hanging from windows clearing rooms. Those were the good ol days when even shotguns wouldn't break his shield up close.

Echo's MP5SD having higher dmg can be simply explained : Doc and Rook's MP5 used to be 30 dmg while Echo's MP5SD used to have lower dmg. They buffed Echo's dmg first and about a year later, they nerfed MP5 to current state stating two operators are already too good and to lower spawn peek efficiency. Ergo, supressed gun has higher dmg. This happened due to the fact that this game is infact 4 year old

I wish they can rework the old lighting to make corners less dark, not make it look like heaven when looking outside from inside, and not needing a flashlight when looking inside from outside
StealthinDaBetter as far the outside and inside lighting goes, that’s how real life works and they wanted the game to be realistic. I think that if you were right against the window looking it then it should’ve been brighter than if you were 10 feet away. I liked the realism it provided when they still had that, but it was annoying

defining echo as infinite charges feels kinda misleading they reload very slowly, also he needs map knowledge to be usefull and aim because he might have an acog but his gun is a peashooter without headshot aim
I agree that saying that Echo has infinite charges is kinda misleading, but Rook and Doc's MP5 is considered a pretty good gun by defender standards (not even considering the fact that it has an acog). Echo has an MP5 with higher damage and a silencer... how is it a peashooter?

Logic behind echos gun is that the old mp5 that doc and rook used was much more powerful. It was once the best gun on defense
