Now, for this one, we’re going historical, classifying weapons on a patch-by-patch basis. That means we’re going all the way back to the Sniper 90 and dishing out personal attacks against those Twitch mains who swear they’re picking her just because of the utility her drone offers.

God I remember when I found out that the shield can even break. Almost all of my buddies that I played with back then didn’t know either because it took like 3 mags for it to be destroyed. Good times
800hp is just absurd. That said in its current state it can still win you a couple of kills or so if you are good and fast enough.

The gun used to do 83 damage which was higher damage than glazs sniper and with a suppressor it did equal damage to glazs sniper. I will say that both guns seem to fire at the same paste.

NL's Lucky Egg neither were the F2 or 416-C/MP5 acog OR ash acog. The fact that these are in there as broken tells me they don’t know what broken means. Of course some ops are stronger than others. Doesn’t mean they’re broken.

Lol what? Her scorpion has been nerfed so badly that they had to buff it back a little cause they made it unusable. Her FO12 was ABSURD. Almost zero recoil paired up as one of the faster firing shotguns, it was oppressive as fuck. I have friend who mains ela and she used to regularly ace with FO12

When my brother let me play on his account one time (and this was the first time I ever played R6) I chose ela on skyscraper because I liked the photo thing. Yeah I ended up with 3 kills in my first ever round

When they reduced the damage on Cavs pistol they also made it's drop off aligned with other pistols so it was a buff overall

Almost every update they have netted twitch and her f2, it’s always been almost unusable after the 1st nerf, but some players were able to control the recoil

I don't regret not being able to experience any of these weapons besides Twitch's Famas and Kaid's Slug bois, but with the way that the game is now. It wouldn't hurt to see these weapons (besides Ela's Scorpion) come back to there old forms for the April fools event as a little nod or throwback. Would love to try the Acog on the Smg-11 for once
I've been here since the beginning of siege to now and have suffered from all of these and more. The memories don't leave easily

The tcsg-12 was full automatic. Glaz' gun is semi-automatic. No one considers a semi as an (full)-auto.

Pig King don’t use muzzle break on any guns besides dmrs. Vertical recoil is predictable. Horizontal recoil in random.

IMO the OTs of Glaz after its thermal sight buff was stupid op too. Almost no recoil, a high zoom highlighting scope and an incredible fire to damage ratio.
I feel like Mavericks m4 is really underrated as he is a 3 speed with a gun that is only 9 dps short of the r4c but with an acog.

Also, the perfect aim shield handguns were pretty oppressive.
Yeah they're still kinda here. Drives me crazy how insanely accurate hipfire from behind a goddamm shield is. Even with a laser sight, no way a shield op should be able to hit me with every round fired from 10 meters away.

I still loved the reason Ubisoft game for the scorpion. Something along the lines of “we wanted her large magazine and ability to kill 3 enemies in a single clip to make her unique”. As if the gadgets aren’t what’s supposed to do most of the differentiation between ops

@@natxhanxi his dmr always had huge recoil anyway before they buffed it and reduced the recoil, lol the dmr was always known for having ridiculous recoil. His assault rifle did 52 damage dude. He could literally take out an entire team with 10-12 bullets and paired up with his 800 hp shield, he would destroy anyone peaking. Once again 52 damage on an assault rifle with no recoil and decent fire rate, how on earth does the dmr compare? No one was using the dmr when he launched, it was all about that 52 damage dude.
Hadaaii Abboud-Issa his DMR became op a long while after his ability and AR had been nerfed. The DMR was so good that pro teams even started using him again, but then they nerfed it’s damage so it became worthless

Bro. The Cav pistol rework was a buff. Note how EVERY kill with it took more than 2 shots. Distance drop off was garbage. After like.. 5 it started drop off. It's a consistent 2 shot now at more ranges
It wasn't a buff. They dropped the damage and increased hipfire and recoil because inside like 8m people could just charge and spam hipfire as fast as they could click and win most gunfights due to only have to hit one bullet to down some one. The change took that ability away. Yes it gave her more range but it took away the broken part of her gun and made it a higher skill weapon (which is basically also the problem with ela's shot gun and why they are changing it as well).
Me I saw the nerf for ela shotgun and the gun is still going to be amazing haha

Her shotgun only seems to be an issue on console. Most people i see use her Scopion on PC so i cant say much

The Scorpion is still broken, but now it is broken against Ela and not for her benefit.
And that doesn't have a counterargument when the SMG-11 and the Vector, weapons with 1200 firerate have an easy to control recoil.
As a fun note, the FO-12 nerf in the test server failed, the shotgun still slaps at medium range.

Honestly the only issue with the gun is the fire rate and mag size that’s the only thing that makes it viable, cap it and I guarantee it will be balanced
I honestly used to choose Twitch for the utility. When i started playing I was a Thatcher main (obv) but when you go into ranked he is always banned, so I used to main Twitch w the 417 till I got better with recoil control
I feel bad for new players who love thatcher and once they get to play ranked well ;-;

Honestly, I've only seen console people complain about the FO-12. It's certainly the best shotgun in game, even on PC, but I think it didn't need a nerf on PC. Unfortunately though, both platforms are changed in the same way.

I will forever have PTSD because of Kaid’s slug launcher, I joined the game only about 5 months ago so I never experienced most of the old broken shit in the game, but man that slug launcher is oppressive
