I absolutely loved that Bruins team and tilts with the Habs were Epic! That's the best video quality I've ever seen from the 80s
Amazing quality. Thanks!
We need more of this.
Even as a die hard Montreal Canadiens fan, I have to acknowledge that Jay Miller earned every penny he ever made playing professional hockey. I hope he's enjoying life after the game.
He is doing very well and has one of the most popular bars on Cape Cod. The place is packed every night and he lives well.
@@patrickmoylan5983 Thanks for sharing that! It's great to hear that Jay Miller is enjoying life after hockey - he earned it!
Miller was a punching bag. At least in these fights.
What the hell is this quality ? It´s like I´ve been teleported back to 80´s 😁
Gone are the good ole days!!
wow, what a fight
Slew foot, Fraser would never notice that, to busy looking in the glass at his hair
Good call, missed that on first view.
Ya but let’s just appreciate everything about this clip. No women announcers, teams that hate each other and hitting / fighting was the norm. Actual rivalry . Miss it greatly
Great quality, some fights after 1990 are so bad quality...
Both guys had pillows for hands
Chris Nilan would be a jiu jitsu prodigy.
I guess he was tired of punching Miller's face.
Was this the game where Miller tried to beat up the dressing room door and the door knocked him on his ass?
Kordic got crushed the first time they fought .
Kordic was at the height of his powers at this time
The refs are killing me.
I love all 3 guys, and Miller lost both, but Chris used a leg sweep and it was pretty cheap. Still love him though. Great guy.
Habs were the greatest....when they were the toughest...
Announcer on same thing Koranic was on
At 0.50 Kodic headbutts him but no mention of this.
I saw that
Did you reply to yourself?
@@tdd1767 he did and it took him 2 years to answer himself
@@paulcrutchley7427 thanks for bringing me back here! Forgot about this clueless person 😆
Howie Meeker in the booth
It is enjoyable watching any Bruin get whooped. Loved watching them lose to the Habs for two decades.
How did you like the Jonathan vs Bouchard Massacre ?
The first year I started following the Bruins. Orielly was my Idol.
'Les punitions: deux minutes pour rudesse'.
Those were the days. Enjoyed going to the Montreal Forum.
Jay Miller was no slouch, but John Kordic was one tough sumbitch.
Kordic even took it easy on him several times
what a joke😂😂
@@bc2725Miller c king of rabbit Punches😊
Linseman vs Trudy the usher.
Looks like Nilan gave Miller another beat down!!!!!!
that's why Nilan swept Miller's leg to stop the fight. What fight were you watching?
@@bc2725 I guess Nilan was tired of punching Miller's face. Miller was a great punching bag for Kordic and Nilan over the years.
Miller came in second in both those fights.
Miller was at least sorta in the one with Kordic but he was just hanging on for dear life against Nilan lol.
Yeah, Miller couldn't get that right loose against Nilan.
2 fights on one night...
slew foot
Nilan and Kordic seem to have this guys number.
Nilan never beat Miller.. keep studying
Not really!
@@brsfan66 Guy was a punching bag.
@@Bruins-vq5ey Miller was a dud.
@@garyzambo6647 don't comment on a topic you know nothing about junior
Kordic had a very fast punch
But they would never really a knockout punch.Kordic was a powerhouse but he had rapture punches. They never really did that much damage.
@@brsfan66 yeah, and that's with him being on steroids.
I finally get my hand free of my jersey and now you guys wanna jump in...
I believe a year or 2 before this Kordic almost killed Miller. It was a ugly bloodbath. But I give Miller huge points cause he never backed down. Good fighter
Don't seem to remember an ugly bloodbath but kordic was a tough hombre
Not so much that Miller back down which is pretty obvious but he never gave up. He would fight to the death.
@@Bruins-vq5ey Yeah, Kordic was tough with all his rabbit punches and steroids.
@@trugrit7210 there's alot of cheap fighters out there..
Dave Brown for example
@@Bruins-vq5eymost of them, these guys where no angels
🐵🐒🐵🐒
kordic was always coked up, hard to feel a punch when you’re always high
And juiced up to the gills. I hear Kordic was around 230 lbs here.
@@iblockpuncheswithmyface1490 no. He didn't put on the pounds until Washington.
@@joecoxy2wrong..way before
@@Bruins-vq5ey when he was with the Leafs and in Newmarket he wasn't roided up.
@@Bruins-vq5ey he got very big during his time in Washington and Quebec.
wow montreal diving even then
2 minutes for slashing.
Nilan is my second favorite Hab of all time. My favorite of all time is
Robinson
Someone should have told Miller he should win at least one in his career.
It's not whether you win or lose, it's are you willing.
They say he beat Probert,I disagree
Casual
@@bobprobert353 1-1 vs Probert
I think he won more than one. Maybe check out some of his fights and see if won against Dave Brown,Bob Probert,Todd Ewen,Craig Coxe,Shane Churla,Gord Donnely or many of the other elites.
Kordic always kicked his ass
Wrong
Nah...
Especially while laying on his back on the ice, with Jay sitting atop of him.
Miller beat Kordic clearly in their last 3 fights when he was a Bruin including dropping him wit a right in Montreal and mounting him at the end of the game.
Bad homer announcers....
Miller lost both fights.
Just got to hate montreal!
Nilan with the leg sweep was a garbage move. No fighter respects that. Miller with a narrow win against Kordic, but it was pretty even.
