if you look at the footage Scott dumps his gloves in the first fight and does not even give Cam the chance to do the same and sneaks what I feel is a sucker punch in and Cam was knocked to the ground not KO'ed as he skated off immediately after that, the second fight Cam is onto his sneaky bs and is ready for him and abruptly beats the shit out of him and probably breaks his nose in the process. Huge difference here, one on one in a fair fight Cam destroys him 9 out of 10 times

Derek Sanderson is such a gibbering, stuttering, slurring mess. The fight started fairly. Neely initiated contact with the shoving. Kleinendorst stood his ground and shoved back. The gloves came off at the same time. They grabbed on at the same time. Scot just threw a beauty of a right, hard and accurate. Listen to Sanderson's gibberish: "He didn't want any part of it", "He punched out of self-preservation", "Cam didn't see it coming". Man, this was about as fair a fight as it gets, yet Sanderson is making it out as if Kleinendorst jumped him. How could Scot jump Neely if "he didn't want any part of it"?

I think Scot wishes he never went for the rematch because he missed the nest 4 weeks with a broken nose. It's not about being a homer. Scot was not a top tier fighter. Cam was. And Scot caught him good, and then paid the price. Better fighters often lose to lesser competition. Not as much today, because goons are phased out, but I've seen George Laraque lose to Shawn Thornton. BGL was the better fighter.

Scott Kleinendorst lands a lucky punch, and the dangerous Cam Neely goes down. The refs step in and save Kleinendorst - for the moment.
In two (2) rematches, Neeley put Kleinendorst in his rightful place. And the Bruins in total fight and chase Kleinendorst out of the league as an enforcer with nine beatings in a row.
This single "lucky punch" by Kleinendorst ended the young goon's career before it really started.
