This was John Kordic stepping on the ice and intentionally SEEKING his rookie brother Dan out! Incredible. Thanks for the footage! I’ve been watching this fight for almost 30 years and only finally saw the entire exchange!

If I'm not mistaken, that Philadelphia team had Dave Brown, Craig Berube, Jeff Chychrun and Rick Tocchet in their regular lineup. Those days are long gone. Today very few teams carry a designated enforcer and about half don't even have an everyday player who can legit throw em.
I think you’re remembering the 88/89 Flyers. They had Berube, Tocchet, Chychrun, and Brown (until he was traded to the Oilers) in the lineup as well as Carkner, Wells, and Mellanby. A team with more toughness than the entire NHL now.

Kordic fought plenty of heavyweights, just like Miller. Also he didn’t fight Brown again probably because he never played him again, this was his last season and he only played 18 games before his passing.
