Dusty Springfield - I Only Want To Be With You (Guitar Instrumental Version)

- Here is my instrumental cover of "I Only Want To Be With You" which was the debut solo single for the British singer Dusty Springfield in 1963 and it peaked at number 4 on the UK Singles Chart in January 1964. It was written by Mike Hawker and Ivor Raymonde. Three remakes of the song have been UK chart hits, the first two by the Bay City Rollers in 1976 and The Tourists in 1979 which matched the number 4 peak of the Dusty Springfield original, while the 1989 remake by Samantha Fox peaked at number 16. More than a hundred versions have been made of the song in different languages including English, French, Spanish, Portuguese and Japanese.
I played this using my Fender Stratocaster (Bridge Pickup) with the Zoom G2.1Nu and Echoes From The Past (EFTP Patch B0). Recording was done via USB to my home PC with Cubase.
The backing track was created by Roger Paulsson and is available for purchase here - sites.google.c...
I also used tablature written by Phil McGarrick (random275) which can be downloaded for free from his website - www.philmcgarri...
