Acker Bilk - Aria (Guitar Instrumental version played by Chris Hampton)

- Here is my guitar instrumental version of the tune "Aria" which was originally written by Dario Baldan Bembo and Sergio Bardotti in 1975. This version is based on the 1976 version by the British jazz clarinettist Acker Bilk. It was released as a single in that year but was not as successful as his 1962 hit "Stranger On The Shore" yet it is one of his most recognised pieces of music.
I played this using my Fender Stratocaster (Bridge Pickup) with the Zoom G2.1Nu (EFTP Patch B0). Recording was done via USB to my home PC with Cubase.
The arrangement and backing track were created by Pete Korving, the backing track is available to purchase from his website - www.guitarbacki...
I also used tablature written by Ger Sanders
