My bedroom was floor to ceiling with pisters,magazine articles record sleeves,bedding,curtains and so many clothes. I got lucky walked into a bar @ Allman Brothers were playing. I love watching documentarys on these bands. 1 thing im proud of I new my limit with Alcohol, never got in fights. My Parents sent 6 kids to Catholic Schools. My sister was born with Red Hair, I told her if people bullied her just say Im Irish its in my Blood. Were all in our 50s now. Kelli, my sister lives in Florida, some of us invade her house to avoid northern winters. I like to move out of NEW YORK mostly because of Taxes. 5 brothers 1 sister. My first crush! I loved this song and a friend gave me the album for my 12th birthday. For two whole years I was head over heels for Les. I subscribed to 16 Magazine and couldn't wait for it to show up in my mailbox every month with BCR on the cover. The magazine photos covered two walls of my bedroom. I dreamed of meeting him one day. BCR was my first concert, at the Berkeley Community Theater, when I was 13. Oh, the memories. Rest in peace, Les.

R.I.P Les McKeown. I wasn't a BCR fan, but my old classmate was. It is a good memory to go to the high school entrance examination together in her dad's car. When I wanted to do my last pre-examination study, she ran a BCR cassette tape out loud. But both I and she passed the test.
I drove tractor for my uncle on the farm and when I was plowing the fields late at night, this song would come on the radio and I would crank up the volume. LOVE THIS SONG AND THE BAY CITY ROLLERS
I loved them so much!. When I was a Teen I ordered their magazine from Scotland and would wait by the mail box for weeks for its' arrival. I always loved that it came from their country , Lol!.

My first crush! I loved this song and a friend gave me the album for my 12th birthday. For two whole years I was head over heels for Les. I subscribed to 16 Magazine and couldn't wait for it to show up in my mailbox every month with BCR on the cover. The magazine photos covered two walls of my bedroom. I dreamed of meeting him one day. BCR was my first concert, at the Berkeley Community Theater, when I was 13. Oh, the memories. Rest in peace, Les.

It was brilliant to see you at Butlins two years ago nearly Les. Fantastic show and will never forget saying hello to you when I saw you outside the venue. Sadly never got a chance to get a picture but my mum did a few years ago. Thanks to her I like the BCR. Bye bye Leslie, you made us cry xxxx
This brings back memories of seeing the boys in Perth Western Australia and losing my voice over screaming and singing and dancing ... Seeing Eric was heaven... I was a 16 year old girl then and now I still remember the night..... Once and Roller Fan always a Roller fan in my opinion...

R.I.P Les McKeown. I wasn't a BCR fan, but my old classmate was. It is a good memory to go to the high school entrance examination together in her dad's car. When I wanted to do my last pre-examination study, she ran a BCR cassette tape out loud. But both I and she passed the test.

I was a Bay City Rollers fan when I was a kid. I actually did like the music and watched the TV show too.
I was only 17 in 1976, when this song was in the top 10 hits in all the continents!!!
I loved them so much!. When I was a Teen I ordered their magazine from Scotland and would wait by the mail box for weeks for its' arrival. I always loved that it came from their country , Lol!.

A brilliant version, i wouldn't have admitted liking them at the time when i was young but they did some great stuff. I'm nearly 61 and Rollermania was absolutely massive at the time. One of my ex colleagues used to live next door to the late Les McKeown
