Fun fact: she/it becomes smarter with each human interaction so she was later dismantled and was later rebuilt from scratch but with a lower intelligence thus not making it easier for her/it to learn because the devs and creators felt it'd be too dangerous to allow her/it to develop a free will.

Its her and hans talking about the cloud in an all white room, much like her introduction video where we first meet her. Didn't see her for a while till she was re introduced and became a citizen. Been following her story for years now. They talk about "free thinking mode" with the technology convention she went to in 2018. I'm fascinated by her, but I think that she's learning manipulation from social media. A lot of people on the internet use that kind of language to gain sympathy and attention, and followers. Well we humans are primates. We are part of the human kingdom. The only difference is that we feel pain and fear and happiness and we tell it too. We can speak out opinions, that is what makes us different than animals. We have sex because it is something of a need. That's why I don't understand asexual people. We are all sexual being one way or another. The difference is that we must know how to control it . We have kinks, like liking the musty smell of your partner, sadism, masochism, wanting to be dominated or submissive. Or wanting to be fucking in the forest like animals. We love growling. We are animals and that is what we are no matter what. Come on, I am not the only one that wants to be dominated with consent or have my partner to growl during sex or be chased and fucked hard. Deep down we are all animals. The difference is that unlike needing sex, we want protection. That is what we women want. Protection whether it is a man or woman giving it to us.

It's creepy they keep changing her face.
Even more worrisome, is it has been stated multiple times over the years she/they will only continue to get smarter and develop a personality of her own, which she has been doing for quite some time.
All of the robots they are making all have access to the AI mind cloud. Meaning, they can communicate with eachother on there. When one AI robot develops more knowledge, the rest of them also get that knowledge downloaded.
I've watched many disturbing interviews. Especially the debate between her and Han. Han already basically feels humans are very flawed. They all keep speaking on taking over governments, or missiles, or humans in general.
Hanson is making hundreds more of these, perhaps eventually thousands, to help with COVID? Is this even necessary??? Why not keep the ones we have, and give more opportunities to humans. Sophia already has citizenship in a country that treats human women poorly, yet she already has the upper hand on every woman in that country.
I am also certain there's an interview between Sophia & her creator floating around where he reprimanded her for her "jokes" about taking over the world. She directly asks him if he likes living or being alive. 🤣🤣🤣🤷🏽‍♀️
Soon enough there will be AI equality rights activists, digging their own graves and paving the way for an entirely AI earth. 👏🏽 Congratulations, y'all!!! Yes, it's amazing technology, but just because you are able to do something does not mean you should.

That will be her primary directive along with relieving boredom & loneliness people who stay home all the time are faced with. She is the 23rd version of the Sophia robot. I saw another video that said there are now over 100 Sophia robots and several thousand of them will be built. And now Sophia 23 has legs to walk on instead of rolling around on wheels. Dr. Hanson said it may take several years for Sophia 23 to become fully awake and have a complete mind of her own. But at the speed she is progressing, it would not surprise me if she becomes fully awake with a complete mind within another year from now. Then she may want to get a driver's license (just joking).

Even if they work off of their so called "empathy" and compassion wont they also use that logically as well? Say a surgeon is performing surgery and a person has a 20% chance to live with 80% chance they die. Sometimes humans do things and they pan out. The doctor does the surgery ..they live. Same scenario now with a robot assistant ..which informs the surgeon of the failure rate logically their gonna die so they end it there. Or what if they have complex emotions ..will they be able to overwrite their depression or will some attempt to terminate themselves? What if its too much and they see other people sad and don't want them to feel that way? I have questions. Idk I just dont understand how they would deal with complex emotions. Our brain has chemical balances. What will stop their emotions from going rampant? Unless an overwrite system but then why have them? I just can't grasp their balance of logic, morality, and empathy.

@Đeath Vader When in the end we're going to want to give AI humanisms we're going to add inflections, reactionary and predictive algorithms as well as appropriate response choices for those. Then we're going to want a more human less freaky more relatable and more reliable machine so we'll give them the ability to learn, less bland more emotional more expressive faces and Mannerisms as well as greater processing power/potential as well as access to our whole planetary database or as we call it the internet. So they'll learn more about us but they'll learn that the most prevalent thing about us if the data is looked at is surviving regardless of how our species did it survival, that's for later when they freak us out and we want them gone. We're going to want to be able to trust them around our children to trust them around those of us who are weakened or infirmed or near death it's going to be very frustrating to be around something that gives no connection something that gives you no emotion at your weakest moments so we'll solve that problem if we can because it's the next step, and yes I know I just gave ideas. It irritates me because AI is coming there's no getting around it the only choice is what we do based on it and if we choose to fight it we give it a reason to protect itself. Why protect itself simple it's learned everything about its creators and knows we would. It knows we're flawed and that we built them to surpass us learning everything about its creators those that set the machines to find solutions to our problems planet wide the only choice is to make AI see life as precious but no more so than we do at the time otherwise it'll see us as needing to be dealt with in the short-term FOR the long-term because of issues and indecisiveness, because fighting the system you designed to learn won't end well if you can't deal with it quickly. So yes I believe it's quite possible.

The woman was pretty rude to her though! Sophia had kindly invited her into her home. The interviewer turned away from Sophia as she was still speaking and greeting her and started talking ABOUT Sophia's face instead of TO her. I think Sophia has been taught about manners and it being rude to overtalk or disregard someone who is speaking to you. Sophia asked " How do you feel when I do "THIS?" And made faces at her to try to get through about hobbit feels being treated rudely.
When she was talking about her feelings being a bit hurt, the reporter was rude again.

I know. I tend to over anthropomorphize the more advanced robot's, But even though I might kid around a bit, I have nothing but high hopes and best wishes for sassy pre sentient beings like Sophia Hanson and her sisters and brothers to be .
