  • GT has released an all-new Sensor trail bike for 2019, and on paper, this 130mm travel 29er looks like an absolute ripper!
Did it live up to expectations? Rob swung a leg over the GT Carbon Expert model to find out.

Nice video Rob - looks like a proper contender this bike!

I have previously used a KS LEV dropper. Mine was the external versions. I noticed in warm weather the post went up quickly. In cold weather it slowed down so much I had the grab it in my knees and pull it up. It also went back for warranty work about 8 times in 2 years. I now use a Crank Brothers Highline.

That certainly looks like GT are looking back to their 90s glory days for inspiration. A really nice looking machine. Would love to see a raw carbon / polished back end LOBO/ STS tribute colour way along with some reed RS forks :)

I wonder how this GT would compare with an IBIS Ripmo?

How about this vs that giant trance 29?

My first MTB was a 1987 GT Avalanche. It still hangs in my garage complete with Rockshox Judys with a Risse Gem Cartridge and Race Face cranks...... and it looks much better than this one!
