- Voice, Alert, Wail, High-Low, Pulse, Chime, and Voice. This is something I have been wanting to record for two years now. I was hoping for this to still be dual tone on an MCP controller but when I got there I found that Goddard Enterprises had already upgraded it to a UV controller set on single tone. Tyler has... an interesting test sequence. Not only do they do four different signals including pulse and high-low, as well as doing a chime, but they also have these programmed to do the full test sequence with one command. Tyler system is comprised of Modulator 6032s and 6048s. Some are still on MCP, however, the city is slowly but surely having the system upgraded to UV controllers. Tyler tests their system on the first Tuesday at 11A.M., weather permitting. Hope you enjoy!

Best voice quality I’ve heared on a Modulator on a while
Hear this: czcams.com/video/Uxajj84v4Sg/video.html
Awesome Federal Signal Modulator 6032
Dat voice clarity THO
I know right
One of the best voices for electronic sirens only imo beaten by the old voice used for DAEC nuclear power plants whelen system. Before they replaced it with some knob who took 2 seceond breaks between each word.
Very nice!
Btw if anyone wants to catch these sirens go off in the city of tyler they go off every Tuesday of every month at 11:00
I’ve always hear that siren all the time
Nice!

This isn't the normal "Voice Dude" from FS. I'm pretty sure this person also recorded the test message for Madison County, KY's old Modulators.
It was an older file from their old MCP controllers which is also why the quality is terrible. They have since updated
(another video coming up...)
my moderator sounds like siren head for some reason and my TV is removed by the guy who removes stuff.
What is the difference between the 6024, 6032 and 6048?
The number of drivers the first number is the number of active cells the last two numbers are the number of speaker drivers
@@sirensandfirstrespondersof7572 Ok, thanks!
@@AndrewWT5020 no problem
I mean u could say that they are the same but they have different soundings that Is the difference between the 6024,6032 and the 6048
ofc they skipped the signals people want to hear
(outro starting)
Too bad they didn’t do alternate wail as one of the tones
what do all the signals mean?
As far as I know, they use alert for tornado warnings, wail for imminent attack, and pulse for HAZMAT. I don't know about hi-lo though
@@SETX_Sirens_and_Rail_02 oh, thank you for the info
Southeast Texas Sirens and Rail hi Lo must be used for floods or fires
@@mjt777x8 Not sure, there's nothing about it on their website.
Probably just part of the test
Why is there no wind up or wind down?
Part of the programming for testing. Idk
@@SETX_Sirens_and_Rail_02 Thanks. I thought it was some sort of glitch or something.
Only the MCP has a soft start
Well it a UV on the pole at the time of recording
(the end)
Hello I’m am I Tyler Resident I would like for you too come again for a testing day, we have a new order type.
I heard that some stuff changed. Not sure when I can make it back
@@SETX_Sirens_and_Rail_02 Sure thing no problem!
God that thing is loud
I guess the mic adds some volume. About halfway through the test I realized that it wasn't loud enough for hearing protection.
That’s an odd test sequence...
Yea idk why the city of tyler has this good of a siren system
This is a Modulator 6024
It is a 6032. It used to have two MCP controllers on it before and now one UV. Reason being is that the MCP could only do up to 2400 watts while the UV can do 3200. Tyler's system is all 6032s and 6048s with two or three 8032s
Oh yeah, the old system voice test has been officially retired and replaced with the new system back in late 2022 for Tyler, and 2 years later it had the 4 booping sound when it started, and now switched to full alert mode, same with whenever a tornado warning was issued too. However the sirens are still the same, but with a new system that they updated to
looks like a UV MCP
It has a UV. It had an MCP prior to a few months before the recording
@@SETX_Sirens_and_Rail_02 ah ok
and ctop is here to go outside and see the sirens that I tested and my cth-10 is covered in nests from United States and my 2t2-10 is uuummm idk uuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuh yellow and brown and my 2t22 is unpowered and have rusty rotors and there's a a-10 thunderbolt that stole the thunderbolt 1003tsa from America and 3t22 has a stuck damper and that's all about it.
They have solenoid's!?!!!
They do not. they use speaker drivers. tones are played through them. no rotors, stators, motors, or solenoids required. just some power and a rectifier.
hahahah wtf
hi I'm archer and woops and I hate a-10 thunderbolts in Kevin's country and my thunderbolt siren is stolen by a-10 thunderbolts and my thunder beam is freaking out and my thunder beam is attached to the thunderbolt siren and this machine will break the rules in -1000 minutes my body will have a virus infection in 56 months now...
