I live in England and earthquakes are rare so we dont have sirens if there was an emergency alert it would be a text message or notification depending on what phone you have

They are one of the only type of sirens in East Texas.
They're heard in a lower tone when further away from them.

That aint an earthquake siren, it is for almost always used for tornadoes/severe weather.

There are some sirens in tyler that accidentally do alternate wail instead of wail

What is Hi-lo and Pulse tones used for? And why didnt the siren wind up at 0:26-0:27?
I don't actually know what hi-lo and pulse are used for. and it's programmed on the controller to not windup
@@JASirens hi-lo is used for fire and either both or just pulse would be for chemical spill alerts.

Well Hawaii has the same kind of sirens so it makes sense on why they sound the same
Not all sirens are the same but mostly they’re Modulator 6024B. Probably the same controller.
I think not many modulators in city’s do Hi-Lo I think some do it’s uncommon they do Hi-Lo.
