- Recorded on December 28, 2021. This is a video of my Modulator 6048 doing Alternate Wail for my birthday. I had SouthCarolinaSirens and an other enthusiast here as well for this test. It sounds like some of the drivers on the Modulator aren't working right.

This is the first time i ever seen a siren enthusiast calling that one siren head
Siren head was so popular before even the creators of the fs modulator named it the "Siren Head Tone"-
Federal Signal never named it "Siren Head Tone". That was only the purpose of the video since Siren Head made the sound even more popular towards kids than it was for everyone else
This alternate wail video will always be the best events from the modulator.

@@TrainsAndSirens1 Yes, I live in Kentucky and our county's system is made up of 2T22's, 3T22's, and a model 2. We get barely any coverage by the siren and we needed them in April of 2019. We got an EF1.
If I had a bunch of sirens I’d probably get permission to put some of them up around the town south of me to to expand their damn warning siren system ( I’m talking about the Tolt Dam Sirens System in Carnation Wa btw )

The 6048 has 48 amplifiers. The 6024 has 24.

@@northdakotasirens1520 I was gonna try but I didn't have time. My STH-10 isn't that loud because it has a single phase motor.
@@TrainsAndSirens1 Single Phase STH-10s are still pretty loud, they compare well with a 2001-130. Especially if you stand under one, Sheesh.

I'm not sure. Since WSS is the only place that has some Whelen controllers, but they are unlikely to work.

This is where the original sound came from, it’s actually too bad that siren head exists because many towns were forced to stop using that signal specifically and switch to something else which also included Chicago in mid 2019

I would live by your house because the different sirens the firehouse where I live has the same siren as the yellow siren by the Thunderbolt the fire siren up by my house it is a gray color and you can hear it from the next town over do you think you'll be able to hear that siren on your test in the next town over please let me know

Only if it's not bad enough for a possible tornado. They only use Alternate Wail when there's a very severe thunderstorm.

Chicago uses fast wail or wail now cause people made fun of the this tone they actually used.
@@TheJakeman789 no, they use alt wail when its a very severe thunderstorm but not bad enough for tornado weather.
@@screammovies7228 They stopped using it almost 4 years ago as a result of the Siren Head creation, it sounds silly but that’s what happened. They just do regular wail for warning and alert for tests.
