Retro Digicams: The DSi Camera

A short video on the first Nintendo DS to feature a camera, the Nintendo DSi.
I never really had a DSi until now, but I know there's going to be a lot of people nostalgic for this console.
I took the DSi out with me for a week, and other than realizing how little I actually go places, I got a handful of photos to take a look at to see how this handheld console performs as a camera instead.

Fun fact: There were several games on the DSi shop that featured using the camera as a main gimmick. Ones I have are Faceez, Foto Face, Rayman, and Face Pilot. Feel free to look em' up to see how they're used, they're super cool!

I still have my old dsi and all the photos I took on it! I sadly can't use the touch screen anymore due to an unfortunate repair mishap but I still have it in my room for when I do decide to get the right parts to fix it. When that happens I'm gonna take more photos with it (as well as use flipnote studio and mod it the system)

That's unfortunate it's broke, I've got my fair share of those projects too lol. I used to use flipnote so much on my dsi xl! So nostalgic haha

I still draw in Flipnote but with Flipnote Studio 3D and that’s been hella fun

Hello, I live in Turkey and I want to buy a VHS camera but I don't know the vhs camera models, are there any models you would recommend? I am undecided between the vhs camera and the nintedo dsi camera. Do you think the nintedo dsi video camera is like vhs?

I don't personally have experience with using VHS cameras so I unfortunately can't recommend any. The DSi camera does have a fairly unique aged look, but it's still digital and will look different from analog tapes. I think VHS would be higher quality with more options, DSi is more just for fun.

You can find a list of "DSI camera support" on giantbomb's website. Seems to have about 68 titles dsiware included.
