I really value and appreciate this kind of content. Building good, healthy and precise habits. Beautiful....
I wear a white tshirt under all of my shirts; it’s tucked into my pants. I avoid the second option of “plucking the shirt and lifting”. If I use this movement, I often grab the under shirt as along with the outer shirt, and since the undershirt is tucked into my pants, it creates and anchor preventing me from clearing the outer shirt out of the way. When Using your first option of “cupping” the bottom of the outer shirt, I avoid the above situation. Just my individual observation. Thank you for sharing your knowledge.
As an older woman and one who's known to be strongly spoken, I truly appreciate your straight forward approach. Your videos remind me why I do what I do at home and at the range. Thank you.
I use my thumb to hook the bottom of my shirt to bring my shirt up at the sametime I go for my gun and practiced it over and everyday for years till it’s one solid flow till it’s and instant draw
I love watching your videos. 70 year old female, living in Kansas, hope to take one of your training sessions next year.

This is gold!
Your advice over the years is the reason that even if I turn off all the lights, and I am in a dark hallway I can still present my pistol and have my dot pop up right where it should be in the darkness.
I know for some people it might seem goofy, but I live in a rural area where it gets very dark so I try to take that into consideration. Also I find that working in the dark takes away the ability to cheat, you either present it correctly and your dot shows up or you see nothing.

You're right about filming yourself on your draws. You pick up on things that you're not thinking about in the moment. I noticed while filming myself practicing my draws that I would pull my shirt up and flick it down as I was drawing in order to get my support hand on the grip as quickly as possible, but not always allowing for the firearm to clear the holster with my dominant hand. So, practiced slowly allowing for clearance before going to my two handed grip.
Thank you, Mick! You are always a reminder that we can always be better!
Thank you Mick.
Great video helps a lot
Very helpful, thank you.
Powerful information here. What you put in is what you get out. Thanks for taking the time and effort to post this.
Thanks
Just in time man! Thanks Mick. Thank you for all that you do for us. Thank you for the wisdom that you share.
Good stuff
Thank you Mick! Refresher. Keep training, everyday
Good job Drew
I’ve never found repeatable success going for the hem. Prefer to grab at the belly button. Works every time
Love your channel
Videos like these are so useful for beginners and experienced shooters alike. Awesome explanation! Greetings from PR.
As a midget this was very helpful with my S&W 500
Thank you sir you are the best for me ❤

As always great information. I dry fire practice probably to much if that's even possible. Even when I can setup wrestling with my guys, whenever possible.
Thanks mick love ya brother
Thanks 4 the drawing tips! Remember Tueller's rule!
Great video Mickey
Gfy
Muscle memory
ROBUST! Love your videos, probably one of my favorite CZcams trainers (I know you’re not just a CZcams trainer though).
I usually have a push dagger on the off hand side of my belt line. My shirt just snagged on it but was still able to pull it up enough to draw my pistol. Maybe I’ll relocate it by clipping the sheath on my belt behind me at the back.
Great video. So many people never practice the draw. You are so right about your muscle memory. Hope you plan on hints for other positions too (5 o’clock, etc…)

Great stuff as usual 👏
Probably stay with one system for muscle memory. Muscle memory will save your behind when your mind is not there 😂
I need to take one of your classes in the near future. In the meantime, I recognize I need a better belt and holster. In this video, what holster and belt combination are you using? Thanks!
30mins every day at home.. I see alot of folk never practice this at the range as well.
Meaningful repetition…. This is great.
Rule #2
Do tell
Grade A content. I have a question though. I use a wedge so my pistol is pushed all the way against my appendix without any room in the back. I’m not able to fully get my master grip. It’s a partial, but there’s still enough touch points for a steady shot. Should I spend more time trying to get my master grip or is this fine?
Show us how to carry in cold 20* weather
Make sure any inner shirts are tucked..
my question to you as an expert in the field of weapons, what weapons are the most used or best to be concealed carry gun Both in terms of security and magazine capacity?
I'm confused which one to buy, on the one hand I really like the barreta 84fs cheeta, on the other hand I see many using M&P9 shield and SIG Sauer p365 series So which one do you think is good?
lol!!!!
Hey mike question that I been wanting to ask. Do you believe in engaging in a physical fight. Like throwing punches and those old school fist fights. Or do you believe in just disengagement and walk away and if that doesn’t work use your gun?
Do I believe in fighting? Sure, only if necessary.
Escalate as necessary only when necessary. Use your hands first, if that doesn’t/can’t work go to OC spray, that doesn’t/can’t work go to your gun. If you’re fighting for retention over your gun, go to your fixed blade knife with your support hand retaining your strong hand on your gun/assailant. You never want to go immediately to your gun unless you know for a fact that’s the level of force needed to stop a threat. I’m a small guy, 5’5 115 lbs so I know more times than not I’m going to just skip the throwing hands part unfortunately, not because I don’t believe in “old school ways” but because realistically I know I could get myself extremely hurt and not have the chance to stop the threat because I wanted to not escalate correctly and if I’m engaging in a fight I’m only doing it to survive and I want every upper hand I can get.
What are your thoughts on pocket carry?
Lol
Scott Jedlinski's method is more effective & appropriate
Do you own or have shot a cz 75b compact ? Or a review .. I always see glock on your channel ?
Don't be a "D" thanks for setting a great example really means a lot
After doing this practice I now have a black eye and fat lip
I've noticed that your thumb is on the top of the gun, where I THOUGHT you had your thumb was behind the gun?
The thumb moves back into place along the side of the pistol while pulling it out of the holster. Many people find the initial purchase of the gun to be more efficient putting the thumb along the rear of the slide at first. One reason is that it allows you to get your hand on the gun without having to dig your thumb down between your skin and the gun. In my own experience, that "claw grip" also helps me to get the gun in my hand in the correct orientation. Going for the full master grip right away makes me off axis a few degrees.

Need to teach more skills to calm things down most people I know and have run into get more aggressive when they have a gun to try and out aggressive the person being aggressive towards them. Cause someone is talking shit to you does not mean you have to stand there or sit there and talk shit back. Move away leave them standing there shut you mouth and move out of the area of operation. Most people with guns are part bully themselves. That why they react back instead of leaving. 99 % of the time a civilian has the ability to move away. This training is good if they stop your moving away
So much inefficiency and wasted movement here. A rather out dated approach to the draw from appendix. I suggest going to someone that is a true "pro" of appendix carry and practical shooting. Modern Samuari Project and Point 1 Tactics probably being the two best in the industry and they can back it up with measurable performance and the achievement of very high shooting standards.
I prefer to grab a wad of my shirt mid height as opposed to scooping the bottom.
Conceal carry sucks.
I. glad your training people on that level I guess I have progressed becouse this stuff seems common sence stuff .
I'm absolute beginner please tell me some dry fire drills to work on pistol marksmanship
Lots of videos here
