  • Today, we’re taking a look at How Hansi Flick has turned Bayern Munich into the best team in the world in tactics explained.
    After a poor start to the season, Bayern Munich sacked struggling manager Niko Kovač. Hansi Flick took over in November and ever since Bayern have looked devastating. Hansi Flick has already led them to the Bundesliga title and now his side look like the favourites to win the Champions League after the destruction of Barcelona in the quarter-finals.
    Diving into the tactics, Hansi Flick’s 4-2-3-1 system with this Bayern Munich side is very reminiscent of Bayern’s treble winners, with a controlling pivot, flying full backs and dangerous inside forwards playing off an elite striker. They attack in a lopsided 3-2-5, focusing on getting the ball wide and crossing to their physical forwards in Lewandowski, Müller and Perisic.
    Bayern aren’t just an exciting attacking side, no one in Europe works harder than Hansi Flick’s men. Bayern’s press is the most effective in Europe right now. They are the most successful team across Europe’s Top five Leagues in terms of successful pressures, winning possession back 34.8% of the time. Their 4-2-3-1 offers great coverage, allowing their hyper aggressive tactics to excel as they break on their unlucky foes.
    Hansi Flick has his tactics spot on, but every top side to win the Champions League has a main man and that’s exactly what Robert Lewandoski offers Bayern Munich. Most previous winners have had a talisman. Zidane’s Madrid had Cristiano Ronaldo, Enrique’s Barca had Lionel Messi and Flick’s Bayern have Lewandowski. The Pole is in the form of his life, scoring at 1.2 goals per game in the Bundesliga and Champions League this season and looks poised to fire Bayern to their sixth Champions League!
    But anyway guys what do you think? Will Bayern win the Champions League? Can they beat PSG?

      Bayern's tactics cannot be copy pasted upon Manu's game. BAYERN outclass Manu in every position in comparison with the players quality and, pramountly, experience. Pace, intelligence, physicality all of these attributes are entwined in the present Bayern's squad. Have you noticed them pressing? Oh God!.. like a stray dogs after a chunk of meat, that is how they run after the ball from the very first minute to the minute when the final whistle blows. Manu needs to stick to how we play at present. However, a bit of conviction and intelligence is what the players lack on the pitch and, undoubtedly, squad depth.

    A little too early to tell. One season ago, we were singing praises about how dominating Liverpool were. (now any mention about Liverpool at present day?)
    Dave, don't over-hype on Bayern, yes a very good game and improved team under new coach, but its far to early to tell whether Bayern will dominate for years to come.
    If they continue like this and appear in the Champions league final next season, then I will consider them as a dominating force like how United and Barca were in previous era.

    • @sankeolsimicklepcha1029
      @sankeolsimicklepcha1029 Před 3 lety

      You must be an acolyte of a team that has been beaten and thrashed to the full extent by Bayern. No team can be dominant for more than a year or a two. Name, if there is any? Real won Chamipons league three times in a row, however, in Laliga, they had to genuflect before Barca. Barca, recently had been winning the domestic titles regularly, but could not show the same impact in the Chamipons league. Liverpool won the Chamipons league the previous season, however at the cost of their EPL title to City. This year, they manage to get hold of it, again at the cost of bowing down before Atletico and making an exit in the Champions league. Bayern holds the same prospect; they are a machine this season. If they manage to bag the Chamipons league, this season, they are in for a run to embrace the treble. Nonetheless, this dominance shall not stretch much longer than a year since Champions league next season is no guarantee to Bayern that they can be this dominant as they are this season. Every year, there are 2 to 4 teams with affluent quality and faculty. Therefore, there is no team who can be labelled the best and towers other team around the globe. Some perform domestically well at the expense of the European Cup run, and some, the other way round.

      Liverpool vs Bayern would be Bayern's ultimate test. Top class gegnpressing...Liverpool, Man City & PSG can cut any European team. Liverpool are masters of gegenpress....Also...Its going be interesting to see who Man City bring in to their team in transfer window. If they get their defensive tactics correct then Bayern can be defeated......And if Bayern doesn't change tactics in the final against PSG....We are in for a superb high scoring final.....
