Nice to hear the unbiased opinions of a non-obsessive about the process. Looking forward to seeing the remaining episodes.
Thanks Colin, yeah John & I were having a chat a few cars after filming and he was telling me all this and I suggested he put it all on a voice note so everyone could hear what he thought , glad you liked the idea 😃
I've been professionally doing this for about 4 years full time and find myself watching this must mean I like you buddy ;)
Thank you so much Dave!, that means a lot ,,, Merry Christmas to you and your family 🎄🎅🏻
Really Enjoyed this video! Would have been Gold for me to watch when I was a noob
Yep! 👍
Thank you very much guys…. Good idea to do something like this then 👌
Seriously, this is a great idea, Graeme. It's so easy (i am living proof) to go out and buy everything you see and spend a small fortune. Simplification is something I've been looking at, especially with chemicals.
I look at my shelves and think, i dont need 70% of this stuff, So I'll and be slowly using it all up and then sticking with just 2, maybe 3, brands for chemicals and 1 brand for LSP. If you're interested, those are Garage Therapy and Bilt Hamber for car cleaning chems and, soft99 for my LSP.
I'm really looking forward to seeing the next episodes.
All the best to you and good luck to John.
Thanks Lee!, of course I’m interested and it’s a great shout!!, I’m the same with products, trouble is if I don’t like em I’m really not gonna use em up, I gave or binned all my Infinity wax stuff as most of it went mouldy anyway where I’ve had some Autobrite Direct in the garage for around 5 years and still good, might need to start doing some mystery boxes next year 😅
Thank you for all the support this year Lee, you’ve commented on pretty much all my videos and I just wanted to say thanks and have a merry Christmas 🎄🎅🏻
Great little video mate. Great to see you informing and helping a novice understand the basics of how to safely clean wheels within Jon's time frame but also with minimal fuss and effort. Look forward to the rest of the series 👍👍
Thanks Paul, and thank you so much for your kind donation to the channel it really means the world to me the amount you have supported me and my channel this year! , I really hope you and your family have a bloody good Christmas and a fantastic New Year mate 🎄🎅🏻🥳
What a brilliant idea Graeme, where was you when I started out (probably still at school). This type of video is priceless to beginners absolutely fantastic. This could be the best video Ive seen, love it
Thank you Martin!, you’re probably right about the school 😅 John is actually my school best mate and I even taught him to drive , passed his test 1st time too 🥳
Had my wheels ceramic coated, made a huge difference in keeping them clean. Also the EZ brush is a wonderful piece of kit. Durable and able to get into the smallest gap. Great video Graeme.
I agree a ceramic coating does make things easier but for John that’s just not going to be on his list of things he’s ever going to do so I had to show him what he could achieve with a simple kit
I do believe that he’ll be fine as long as he’s cleaning the wheels thoroughly with the routine I showed him, maybe with the help of a spray sealant in future but I think ceramic coatings are a far off thought but you never know 😅
Have a great Christmas mate 🎄
@@GMDetails Yes your right Graeme, maybe something like Geon wet coat would help. You have a great Christmas too Graeme.
Superb video Graeme. Different to other and it's great to hear free flowing conversation discussing the process.
Hand on heart nothing negative was cut out , only the odd sniffs and brain fog errrs 😅
Appreciate the comment , have a great Christmas 🎄🎅🏻
Great video Graeme, always nice to see a detailing enthusiast passing on tips to someone who wants to learn more. Hope you enjoy the festive period and have a great New Year
Thank you mate, glad you enjoyed it, looking forward to seeing the back of ‘23 and onto a hopefully better ‘24 🤩
As poncy as they are I have started using the mini EZ a lot more lately as you found here its handy around callipers and the intricate designs on both of my current wheels too
A valeter friend of mine told me he only uses the small EZ brush, gets ANYWHERE!!, but I can see where they would be good on your rota’s
Great video Graeme saves time using one product to do more than one task . Garage therapy zero decon shampoo can also be used as a snow foam and shampoo . Merry Christmas to you and your family . Look forward to the next video
Thanks Michael!, it really is a versatile product , you can actually do EVERYTHING you need to clean a car exterior with one bottle of GT ZERO DECON , and safely too!, have an awesome Christmas too and there’ll be part 2 in the new year 🥳
Fantastic idea for a video series mate - I genuinely lkve this approach, particularly when your friend added some commentary too.. gives a real novice's perspective that's easily overlooked!
Thoroughly enjoyed ever minute of that, and from an editing point of view, the music levels were perfect in the background. 10/10 👌🏼
Thanks Mark 😍 was challenging to keep one eye on filming the other on what I was saying, but one thing I’m finding is people seem to appreciate the honestly of commentary while filming rather than later on on voiceover , I just need to get over neighbours thinking I’m a nugget talking to myself cleaning the car 🤣
Have a very merry Christmas mate , hope you and your family have a brilliant time 🎅🏻🎄🥳
@@GMDetails I have exactly the same obstacle to get through, even though all my neighbours know exactly why I'm doing it 🤦🏻♂️ I just can't get over the fact that if feel like a weirdo doing it 🤣🤣
Let's be honest, you're both as mad as a box of frogs 🐸 😂😂
At least you’ve approached them and have their cars to clean, the good neighbours I have all clean their own cars and the ones that don’t . Well….. 🥴
Great informative video - looking forward to the rest in the series. I'd welcome your recommendation on where best to buy things like short swivel trigger gun, suitable snow foam lance, spray bottles, brushes etc - feels like there's too many cheap items on-line.
Thanks Gordon, I buy most of my things from In2detailing He doesn’t deal in cheap crap as his reputation is at stake, I bought my first cheap(ish) short gun for around £25 and served me quite well but I was suffering a fair bit of hand fatigue holding the trigger open, I swapped it over for a MTM SGS 35 at around £70 but honestly the difference is unbelievable, I believe Imran at In2detailing sells the MTM and if you click the link here , you should get a bit off the price www.in2detailing.co.uk/graeme-mcarthur
Snow foam lance I can highly recommend the MONSTERSHINE one, use discount code GMD10 for 10% off there too 👍
In2detailing for your brushes too, there’s a link to a good set in the video description 👌
Ta! appreciated
