I'm surprised at the power-it's more than we'll ever need, and we've not even used the most powerful setting yet.I've cleaned off a dirty concrete porch to get it ready for sealing, started to clean siding, and I know this pressure washer will be terrific for cleaning tools this fall.The only issue we had is we had turned around the hose connector, and it leaked. Once it was on correctly, though, we had no problems with the connection. Just remember that the end with the green knob goes towards the hose. It's obvious now what we did wrong, but not necessarily obvious at the time.

I run a couple car washes up in the Pacific Northwest and there is a couple detail guys behind us it’s nice to see what they go through. Since day one my dad has always best to he’s own drum running he’s painting landscaping whatever business he’s taught me to get the money your way and work for your self there is money out there and if you want it you can make it . With your suction hose, I run a carpet cleaning van and had the same issue. I run a spring on the piece connecting to the van with only a little play; stopped all my issues with the hose ripping there.

Also, the wheel acid, awesome. I stepped down a level for most of my dirty wheels though because it is strong. I use LA's Totally Awesome for non painted/finished wheels and zero scrubbing. Plus its super cheap. Blows people's minds. Its the small details that stick out the most.

You are probably the first one outside my country (Italy) to use acid on wheels. We use cromobrill made by Mafra. Works great, 5 min and your alloys are perfect without touching them
Working as a contractor is very different. However you can definitely create some examples of what will cost what you create that base for them. You already do a great job at it. Most detail companies are only doing the inside as contractors.
On your vaccuum hose there should be a clap on the inside that's missing, check with cox hose reel for the clap. by the way enjoying you channel and congrats on the U-haul deal.
Bahaha I love the videos and how real they are. This is me most days. That phone call though lol. My pricing is pretty much the same and I get 3-4 calls a day like that. Someone looking for a quick $40 wash at their house not a real detail. "thank you sir, have a good day". Not convincing you that $150 for a sedan mobile detail at my level is quite fair for my area. I had a few contract deals and run in to the same thing. They want bulk work, think that entitles them to a 80% discount, and want me to provide concourse level results while telling me they dont need me to complete all my normal steps or use my normal products. I have a standard and a standard price. Not going to undercut anything. Especially when you ask me to do a $150 job for 40 because of volume. Nah Im good. The 10 cars they might give me per week, eat up 2-3 full days when I could've made the same money with 2 cars. KEEP GOING BRO

Hey bro, you may already do it, but spraying an APC (caustic / higher on the pH scale) will neutralize the acidity of an acid based cleaner. Rinsing it with water doesn’t always neutralize that acid eating. Can cause damage if it’s strong enough. Just lookin out

Hunter, you are missing the clamp that holds the Vacuum hose to the reel. it holds the hose so that when you fully extend it, it doesnt pull or kink that section that you put the duct tape on.
Now that's Big!
You can cut the hose... unscrew the hose cuff and then screw it back to the new section

i am 15 i been wanting to do contract detailing but idk how that would work with my age and I don't have a water supply nor generator but I do some dam good work lmao.
I notice alot of detailers have hose cracks, no matter which brand, tier they use. Imma tape and support all my hoses before they crack.
Some tips for working with acid. Never spray on a hot wheel, never let it dry, and don’t spray on bare aluminum wheels. Always keep it labeled.
I use it what happens if its hot?
Also what if u use it on laint?
Yes. You could possibly remove the acid stains with sanding and polishing. But it’s best to avoid. Only use in small sections when hot. Always use water to cool the surface then apply acid to wheel or paint and rinse off before it dries.

Where do you get your rim acid from? I've tried so many and they don't seem to do the job. I used to work for a detailer and here's a quick tip you can use that rim acid for windows with hard water spots but make sure you don't get it on your paint and your windows will be crispy!

Because we all know,once people pay their money to rent a UHaul,they care less about the upkeep. You may get stuck with a “off road” looking truck. That’s just my take on it. But keep doing what you do. And remember. Always put GOD first.
I’m a Mobile Detailer also, you have to understand that we name our price according to the condition. If they ain’t agreeing to the price, then we ain’t doing it.

What acid did you use?
I ain't messing with fleets. They don't pay enough. So I started doing houses that's where the money at easy. 450$ 1 hour spraying chem and water. I'm at that point where I'm pulling off on jobs to only 9 months in.

The only thing I would say, is be careful working with larger businesses like this most of them have a policy of wanting net 30 terms, which often turns into net 16 at 90 and other words they pay you when they want to pay you if they pay you, it sucks because the work is great and the opportunity is good, but you really have to be careful not to become a bank and have all your cash flow tied up in their business. It’s a matter of when do you get paid
