You are probably playing minecraft Xbox one new version because I get alot of bows too, but if not then it is probably pe or windows 10. Hope that helped

I play on PS4 and have a skeleton spawner that I turned into an xp grinder, they drop loads of bows and I have a chest full of them but theyâre all on red or orange durability

you miss a thing, if you've been chased by so many skeletons in a cave, dig 2 blocks that you can fit in, after they see you they will totally miss (even difficulty was hard)
You forgot to say sometihing: Skeletons are left handed.

No theyâre not. In the POV of the skeleton, they are holding the bow in their right hand.
@@goldengifts3830 And that is exactly my point. A lefty shots the arrows with their left hand (this is due to the fact that it is required precision). The non dominant hand just holds the bow. I speak from personal experience xD

Golden Gifts Thatâs exactly the observation made. One shoots the the arrow with their dominant hand as it is more capable of precision and accuracy, which is the key requirement of a bow and arrow. đ

They can't see players though fences or glass because I was looking out of my window in my house a skeleton looked directly at me but left as if I was invisible.

Glass Block are transparent block,so the Skeletons can't see the Players.
Nice unknown fact: On minecraft pocket edition the chanche of armor wearing "undeads" is bigger and they always drop the full armor with almost full durability instead of rare drop chanche with low durability . The durability fact also applies to bows ( they are dropped with a highter chance than in PC , but not always as the armor does ) .

They can but it's really hard, you need the same as the zombies (3 in a hall) then a player to push them because they don't actively seek our any other mob :)

To your question, at the end, no the mobs AI sees glass and fences as soiled blocks. An example is to go stand in tall grass at night.
