Once, I had a baby zombie. He was my pet, with full leather armor, some enchanted. The little town I lived in was guarded by an iron golem. One day, the baby escaped... you know what happens. I (very dramatically) destroyed the golem and sold his iron. The end.

I'm surprised he didn't mention Giants which are basically giant Zombies that were originally implemented into early Minecraft. You can only summon them through command and they don't have any AI, they also always face South. They were removed but never deleted because Notch found them cool.
I really love these pre-1.9 versions of Minecraft. I just watch these videos again for the nostalgia

Could we get an update to this video? Zombie villager skins have changed, baby zombies now burn in the sun, and there are now varieties of the zombies(drowned and husks). Zombie villagers also can spawn in igloos. Also, there are other aspects you didn't cover, such as the ability to spawn with swords and shovels, dungeons and zombie sieges. In all honesty, I want to see an updated list, but part of me just wants to see more of these informational videos.

It's not really a big it was a failed attempt by notch to make a pig model and because of that mistake it later got changed into the creeper

Zombies _can_ climb ladders, however, only in the updates that increased their Intelligence level. Also, can you make a video about horses, donkeys, or mules? I haven't seen one of those on your channel.

Some theory I have for zombies: zombies look like Steve cuz Steve died when saving the ancient builders race, those people who became endermen, when Steve died, he became zombie somehow instead of respawning as himself.
