While I do appreciate them buffing the Ender Dragon by a lot compared to it's first appearance, I kinda wish it didn't get the ability to hit you out of the ball park.
I mean, it makes sense. The dragon DOES fly SWIFTLY, which is why it sends you flying when it attacks. My only wish is that if you get too close to the dragon, only its wings can fling you into the air.

I faced the Ender Dragon alone. Took me a little over a year to prepare for the battle. Collecting resources, enchanting, brewing potions, crafting a strategy, etc.
My strategy when I fought the Ender Dragon was to use fully enchanted diamond armor and weapons, shield, TNT and redstone torches to light the TNT under the dragon when it lands on the empty portal so I could deal damage while staying at a safe distance, I brought two full stacks of empty bottles to collect as much Breath as possible and an Ender Chest to store anything extra I could need (such as potions and the collected Dragon's Breath). I also used potions of Regeneration, Health, Strength but most importantly and my actual "ace", potions of Slow Falling. Probably not the most quick strategy, but it sure kept me alive and barely hurt, at all. I haven't died a single time.
I also brought a piston and some cobblestone so I could collect the egg. I now have it on display in my house. I wish it could be hatched and the hatchling could be tamed and raised. It would be EPIC to have a pet dragon at home and who knows, maybe ride it when it grows up. I'll go nuts if Mojang ever adds a tamable dragon to the game, even if we can't ride it.

Don't, under any circumstances, ever bring diamond armor to fight the dragon. Iron armor is plenty, and you can actually afford to lose it.
Vult lol? i afford to do 10 full diamond armors
If you bring too much diamond, you're likely to lose it, and if you bring too little, it's not enough to make a significant difference and still creates the risk of losing diamonds. I'd say just take iron armor. If you really aren't confident, you can enchant it.

Trivia answer: well it is quite possible but it will be difficult to find since its very quite far without defeating it if you want to find the outer islands known also the end city good luck for finding the easiest way to go to the outer islands is by killing the ender dragon to open the portal to the outer island that requires the enderpearl even building by block will take alot alot alot of time you might need a elytra or using creative mode for you to go a bit faster to find it.
I did find it in creative while using elytra but it took alot alot of time and its really hard i heard other youtubers did attempt it i know its not necessary to have a long answer but meh

quick tip, bring some potions of slow falling for when climbing towers, as if you dont have an elytra it works just as effectively for saving long falls and uses very very little resources to craft.

Can you kill a ender dragon in creative mode?
I always bring a bow with infinity, if not then 2 stacks of arrows. Enchanted diamond armor with thorns, blast prot, prot, Fire prot, a stack of glass bottles, diamond sword with sharpness, a piston, a red stone torch, 2 stacks of ender pearls, and some cobblestone. Oh and a water bucket. I donât need ladders since you can blow the crystals up through the bars with arrows. Thatâs what I bring and it is verry successful.

Answer to trivia is Yes. The outer islands are 1000 blocks away from the main island. It may take a lot of time but it is possible by building a bridge or better build a flying machine. To prove this check out Logdotzip's video. I don't have the link but you can search it up on CZcams. The flying machine will also require a lot of afk time. you can still shoot the end crystals that are encased in iron bars, just shoot through a crack under where the iron bars are placed so no potential fall damage can take place
Also, when entering the end thereâs a chance of getting a rare glitch which makes the end spawn with two ender dragons or more
You forgot to say that the Ender Dragon is confirmed to be a female (look at How to Play) and is named Gwen/Jean.
The weirdest fact: no. 2 strongest boss mob. Wither: 300 hp. Attack damage: 12 hp. End dragon: 200 hp. Attack damage: 16 hp.
So if they both went hit for hit the wither would win
