Hellloooo! My name is Clancy and I'm originally from Long Island, NY, whch is about 40 minutes from NYC. In 2017, I moved to Ohio to become a TV news reporter, but after waking up at 2 a.m. for 5 years, I decided to leave that job and pursue CZcams full-time.
I recently bought a house in Cincinnati and love making all kinds of videos, focusing on everything from money and finances (saving, budgeting, and being financally independent in your 20's) to health, fitness, and nutrition, to beauty and fashion. I'm getting married next summer so I also love providing wedding updates and showing you exactly how I'm planning my own wedding.

I got married in 1988. We had a videographer (VHS tape!). In 2007, after my husband passed away, I had that tape moved to a DVD by a man who specialized in it.! My 3 kids LOVED it! They got to watch great grandparents, grandparents & their dad speaking in this ! Just such a wonderful event to watch! ❤🥰

I can't get over how little holiday time is considered normal in the USA!! I get 37 days which is about the standard for most full time jobs in Ireland and the UK 😮

You got marriage backwards…marriage is the religious part because it’s a covenant with God…the civil ceremony (part where you apply for a license, sign it, and file it with the clerk is the government part)

Last summer I was MOH for my friend's wedding and she had the SAME issue with shape wear - you are not alone! Kudos to you for planning the wedding all by yourself - the photos on instagram are beautiful you are such a beautiful bride!!

Way too late for your wedding, but maybe this can help someone else. I do a lot of chalkboard signs for parties and I use painters tape to map out lines so I keep my words in straight lines. It helps so much!

I purchased the shareware last year and love it. The skims shareware comes looking that small in all the sizes. I personally purchased the extra large skims, and they came out, looking the same. They are really comfortable and they stretch quite a bit.

Put your long couch with the back to the kitchen and love seat against the windows. You want people looking at the TV or out the windows, not into the kitchen. Also maybe get two chairs to go against railing wall, again, looking out the windows.

So...The government fee is waived if you change your last name on your passport within one year of when it was issued...If you travel immediately after your wedding you can book your trip under your maiden last name so they let you on the plane...As soon as I got back from our honeymoon I went to the courthouse to submit my marriage certificate (make sure you buy a few extra certified copies to be safe)...I then went to the social security office to do my official name change, then to the driver's license office to get a new license (allow a couple hours to do each of these things)❤❤❤❤

Oh Clancy, it broke my heart to hear you saying that marriage is not a religious thing, but a government thing. How ignorant you are about the history and tradition of marriage? I totally agree with you father on that matter, if you are not having a priest and if you are not getting married in a church, you are not really married. What you have is a civil contract similar to when you hire someone to work for you.

It's funny and true when your around close people you just pick up what they say. Example my mom is from long Island, she's lived in Cleveland now for 30 years. Still has a slight accent, but whenever we go visit NY or a family member or friend comes to visit, her accent gets so so strong she doesn't even realize it.
