The prediction was not based on astrology. No astrologer can predict who can die when, similarly no astrologer can predict end of world in advance, unless there are signs of it. You think astrologers are god, who can tell past, present and future of everything small to big things. That's not true. Use astrology as weather forecast, it may rain or it may not, but possibility of raining or not can be found out by astrology. Hope you understood now.

When you talk to Indian audience about an Indian subject why are you not talking about any of the ancient Astronomical wisdom of our forefathers? Have you or any of your 15 member research team ever got outside of social media platforms and news channel to do proper research on this topic?
Geo-centric view, Sun as planet, Barnum effect, Fourier effect - these are common lines of attack anyone would take to challenge astrology and you are no different from others. You should have come up with some original lines of attack, than merely going by popular line of attack on internet!
Is it appropriate to go by the third-grade commercial astrologers you see on CZcams to decide about a subject that has several thousand years of history? Why do you think that our sages would have developed a subject like this for the benefit of people? There was no need for them to impress anybody and making a living out of it. There was no CZcams then! It is noble knowledge per se and has its own space in our lives and culture. You believe in it or not is a personal choice, however, if you blame the subject in public platform, just because of some bad practitioners and your limited understanding of the subject, that is not acceptable.
You and your team don't even understand the basic difference of Indian vs Western astrology. You are talking about Sun based Rasis, which is not at all Indian. You are quoting a lot of information sources from Western astrology world throughout your video. You are quoting Vivekananda et al as well, who don't have any background in Astronomy or Astrology either. And this CZcams crowd that lacks the basic understanding of this subject (any subject for that matter!) erupts in cheer when you blast at a subject that you don't have any real clue about. What a pity! Is this how you want to build a knowledgeable community of Indians?
I would suggest - Better go and understand the subject and the generational effort that has gone behind it before talking rubbish about it. Don't talk about a subject you don't know enough. Such fame won't last long.
Western astrology is quite different from Indian systems. India has more than 800 variations of its own astrology. First get that basics right before talking about big things. Mundane astrology is a weak area of general astrology predictions and no knowledgeable practitioner will attempt it in public platform. Corona was a random event and honestly outside the purview of any astrological predictions. Whatever you see in News channels and debates involving astrology predictions are mere entertainment in nature and lack credibility. I am not defending any scrupulous astrologers here. Just like in any profession, such % of people are also present in Astrology. Since educated people ignore such knowledge systems, that subject is being dominated by people who don't have much scientific background.
I hope your team would do better homework next time on such topics outside your purview. Just don't believe in ChatGPT summarized info. Its has not been trained on Indian Astrology texts well enough and has inherent negative bias towards the subject derived based on its limited training data.

You may be right about some people misusing astrology but it is their fault.

When i was in 10th last year my grandma asked to an astrologer if i could score good marks in my board exams and he predicted i could score around 60-70% and due to which my grandma adviced to do some superstitious activities in an order to avoid this..i literally didnt even tried to do all tht and focused on my studies and i was confident i will score more than 90% for sure and actually happened..
Bro have you ever thought that if your grandma would not recommended you to do that superstition then,, maybe you might not given your full efficiency .... Late to this video but would like to say i can personally comment on this 😂😂😂. I completed my 12th in March 2020 and after that my family was suggested that we shall seek astrologers help for my future decisions. He is a well known astrologer and had good relations with my relatives.
He predicted that my 2021 will be amazing and during the period of july to october i will gain immense success and good things will only come to my way whatever i choose.
I don't remember if anything good happened or not but I lost my father in september which i do not consider good 😢
So I firmly believe with my personal experiences that this is just another way of playing with minds of people and earning money and nothing else.
When i was 13 year old, An Astrologer told me that i will be a millionaire at the age 19 and im 23 today still unemployed 😭

I ve never visited an astrolger..but I'm very much interested in this subject.and in my few years of studying vedic astrology I've found out from my personal experience that one who has very deep knowledge in this subject can predict quite a few if not everything. Being a science student i can say it's really a science..but most of the people can't read it quite well as its a vast and complex topic
I never believed in astrology till age of 30 years. Later on I decided to understand it so I studied it deeply and found it almost 100% accurate. Until you don’t study how can you say it’s wrong. It is same thing saying because I don’t about country Sudan so it doesn’t exit. Some people are so stupid in this world. Astrologer prediction go wrong sometimes because of calculations mistakes but the fact is Plane also crashes yet so it means technology of plane is useless and doesn’t exist.

That's fine. Not all people are lucky enough and meant to find good astrologers, it's a rare blessing. What Dhruv is saying in the video is true of the Western concept of entertainment astrology/ zodiac signs/horoscope (though you might be able to find genuine astrologers practicing Western astrology too), but Man! Vedic astrology is completely on some advanced level, it's based on ancient knowledge of wise saints and has a strong mathematical basis. Of course, like all other professions and fields of knowledge, there are a lot of bad or even fake astrologers and some are good ones. I am so glad that I came across some genuine astrologers who made me believe in astrology. 🙂

Sometimes we work hard but in the wrong direction. You prepared well and scored ur marks but that doesn't mean you can be a scholar for that subject. For that, you have to work harder than now, if it is not good for you. Still, Achieving something doesn't mean satisfaction. Occult Science only tells you the areas where you can work and achieve success. And remember success doesn't always mean money, it's more than that including ur satisfaction, happiness, relationship, courage to handle your work pressure, etc.

Sometimes people dont have much to hold on to except " hope " that situation will improve and better time will come. astrologers right wrong however they may be but they sometimes help people not to give up. I might even go further and say that atrology has some part in keeping people out of depression and drugs.

Well well! A highly educated doctor here, have met many astrologers in my past due to my mom. Let's just say everything couldn't be explained by scientific studies, science has a lot of things unexplained (not coming from a random youtuber). My astrology experience with few have been so genuine, I believe what he's trying to imply here is there are bad astrologers, who will lure you, make fool out of you, but astrology has a power to predict a few things about you. Now if a person with a great future commits suicide and then astrology predicted a great future, the fault is here of that human, astrology Never says, karma mat karo.

Well, I have seen astrologers who have spent enormous amount of time studying this subject for over twenty years. In my case, exact prediction about my job, career, personal life came to be true.

You know what has happened. There are ample folks emerging on youtube to predict generally about everything and it's totally wrong. Rather planets, god and human brings dont have anything to relate with each other. I have been reading western astrology at for my P.Hd subject at central university in India.
I have came across to many such references where people would have really good knowledgeable of astrology. I don't know why medieval Indian people put into it godism, religious touch which led to misconceptions regarding this knowledgeable.
Basically, there is a huge difference between "shastra" & "science". Science runs upon certain principles, equations and "Shastra" is totally based upon "logic". So if four prepositions are there and we got to come to "one" conclusion then obviously we will use our logical sense and choose one right resembling option as an answer. If astrology were to considered to be more accurate in predictions then there would have been no difference between "shastra & vidnyan"
Actually, the whole conception of astrology has been wrongly put before us by some of ancient our Indian people and thats why we are looking it with more skeptically with doubts.
One more thing I have come to conclusion about astrology and that's. Predictions come from not the astrological books and rules but they come from practices and a lot of understanding. Thus I support Dhru's narrative to whatever he's touched but I wold suggest here to not deny in one hand as if it's logical fallacy.

I know many people's incidents. Some astrologers who are not greedy of money and honest towards their work predicts true I feel.
So Dhruv hasn't really made an attempt to understand Vedic astrology and he's used astrologers who give astrology a bad name, as examples. If he did dive deeper, he would see that Vedic astrology, is actually a very beautiful predictive tool, and is subject to interpretation of the scriptures. Sadly there was no formal institution to train someone to read and interpret the scriptures, but that doesn't mean that aren't some really really good astrologers whose years of work and practise, can actually add value to some people's lives. There's no point going into explaining how charts, with their houses and various planetary combinations in those houses, is why two people born on the same day in the same location don't have the same fate and destiny. But the sheer lack of research of this topic by Dhruv is my reason to doubt all his previous videos and of course also the perfect reason, to give the future ones a miss.
