I want to add another info. Margaret Hamilton, a software engineer from MIT, build the software which was used in the Apollo 11 mission. She used to teach mathematics but after some notable work in the software departments, she was called up by NASA to build their softwares. One day unknowingly her daughter discovered a malfunction in the software which was like to be use in that mission. And Hamilton thought that this would have happened in the mission, and immediately she started to fix the malfunction. Although the malfunction did happen in that mission, but NASA trusted her as she knew how to handle this. This was a very essential part of Moon landing, but unfortunately nobody talks about her valuable contribution. Thanks to this amazing lady & other 400000+ scientists, researchers & workers who make moon landing possible.

Soviets were the firsts who sent satellites to space, they were the firsts who sent humans to space. These incidents are still the base of modern day space science. The kind of challenges NASA faced during Apollo missions is beautifully shown in the film "Apollo 13" which could've ended as a major disaster but thankfully all astronauts survived. After watching this film, i was very fascinated about space programs and studied a lot about Gemini, Apollo and STS missions. Thanks again to Dhruv and team for a detailed and simple analysis of Apollo 11 and conspiracy theories.

There's also the fact that in some of the pictures, the shadows are being altered by the angle of the terrain vs the position of the person taking the picture. In one picture, the LEV is in the background, one of the Astronauts is in the mid ground on the lip of a depression (possibly a small crater) and there's rocks on the downhill slop in the foreground. The shadow from the LEV is being cast on an uphill slope, the Astronaut's shadow is being cast into the depression, and the rocks are casting their shadow against a slight downhill slope that's slanted towards the camera.
Because of where the picture-taker is, his angle from the objects, his distance, and the height at which the picture was taken, the LEV shadow that's going uphill can only be partly seen, and it gives it the appearance of pointing directly right, the Astronaut's shadow can be seen starting at one of his feet, only slightly, but also on the back edge of the depression facing the camera that eventually gets high enough to see some of it, and the rocks appear to be casting their shadows right and slightly down (and their shapes also add an optical illusion).
Disputing a moon hoaxer friend of mine has taught me more about how cameras work, light and shadow and how THEY work, and actual components of the LEV and Lunar Rover than I ever wanted to know, because I have to research my answers to him. And even then, he just moves the goalposts a bit.
