She owns a physical piece of her history whilst he is making it clear where his desires are and his sight is on her. It’s a very intimate scene and lays the groundwork to show why both these characters gravitate towards each other. I adore how that scene in the throne room looks like a couple at the alter who have just exchanged their marriage vows. Overall both these characters make the show very compelling to watch.

I just rewatched the series again and throughout series 1-3 Rhaenyra occasionally wears her golden necklace - always when speaking to Vyseris (my guess is that she did not want that he discovered the Valyrian necklace as it would be obvious where it came from). The only exception is when Daemon returns after Stepstones - there she meets both of them in Valyrian necklace
