  • A quick look at my work toolbox setup. If you are a professional mechanic and want a quality toolbox that fits a lot of tools and is very mobile I would recommend the Matco Jametown tool carts. They are great quality for the money! This thing is super durable and fits a ton of tools. Rolls easy fully loaded also. I've taken it out to the parking lot to work on cars and it rolls on the different surfaces great and feels stable.
Thanks for watching, liking the videos and subscribing! Were back to the Fiero's next!

That cart better be well built.... It's the only thing matco actually builds themselves

Very cool big change but sometimes changes are good. Every one loves those matco carts. I like the color on the snap on box it’s different and not a color most would choose. The orange and blue gives it a nice visual pop.

Love that Copper Vein color and texture. Nice hardware collection. I've been putting mine into those Milwaukee stacking boxes you can get at Home Depot. For $20 it keeps me somewhat organized.

Awesome MATCO/Snap-On boxes (very clean organized) love that shop floor (worked in one like that with TILE way better than concrete. Blue/Orange color is awesome!

You have a very clean setup and the shop where you work is no micky mouse appearance.

You seem like a nice guy.. I also just got the updated matco jamestown 773. It's a flat gold color with black trim and stainless steel top. Built on January 2021... I've had 3 snapon carts and agree this matco cart is way better.. I like the open front design where you have better access to your tools, Allows me to grab tools with ease instead of using my hands like one of those toy claw machines with the stuffed animals. . I don't think I'll ever go back to a regular tool cart . prybars and long screwdrivers fit alot better also.

Those Jamestown carts are nice! One thing that annoys me about my Snap On is I can’t store the bigger prybars in the slots because the handles are too long. The bars fit just fine. I’d like to get one of those and turn the Snap On into a diag cart.

I had a Snap-on cart in the past and this Matco jamestown cart is much nicer. It a really nice box.

Very nice set up. The Matco cart is very impressive, but sadly not readily available over here in the U.K. We get Snap on or Mac, but the prices are enough to make a grown man cry. I make do with a version of the Harbor Freight cart, which is very good, but the pry bar problem is annoying, so i'm going to fabricate a rack to hang them on the side. One day, I hope to get my boxes as well organized as yours.👍

I had a Jamestown and I really liked the low front lip. I could have my laptop in there and type comfortably or quickly grab for tools. It was too big for the shop I was in at the time though

You should see us aircraft mechanics (major airlines) we use tiny little boxes what we know need on a daily jobs then if we come short of something we run over to are rollaway. We are not allowed to have are own torque wrenches and we can’t have power tools so we save a bunch of space.

Is that a major airline specific rule? I havent heard of anything like that from my side of the industry. I work as a heli mechanic and ive got buddies working for smaller domestic airlines who all have access to battery power tools. Granted air tools are a no go for anything but sheet metal work.

I saw in Nick @ Let's Drift Media's video when he was working for BMW that they also had those floors in the shop. Is that a BMW dealership thing?

It’s JCS773. You can build a toolbox on Matcos website. Just pick the JCS773. Copper vein is in the color options. Pick black trim. That’s my box.
